Inflation Is everywhere now,it's not like those times when everything was easy to afford,low cost of living,even the salary you receive at the end of the month was enough,no pre-salary expenses,Lol.
It's not like that anymore, everything is on the high side,the money is not even enough anymore,I told my friend last week that it seems everything is never going down again,I mean it seems the inflation is never deflating again because I wanted to buy okra and I realized that the price of okra was #50 before and even if the price inflate to #100 back then it will still go back to #50 again,those are the days where things inflate and deflate but right now the okra price is still #100,it is now the normal price, everything is now getting difficult,we can't buy things at a cheap price anymore, buying foodstuff alone will take all the money someone has not to talk of buying some other things,it's really hitting us bad in my country.
Everything is high even the cost of petrol,diesel and gas. There was inflation on petroleum last two months,all the public transport increased their money but when the price of the petrol reduced a little bit they did not reduce the transport fare again,you see even we ourselves are the cause of this problems,when things goes up people increases the price for their goods so fast but don't want to reduce their price again when it comes down,it's a bad thing,we are making things difficult for ourselves.
I'm a type of person that likes junk but right now I don't eat junks again, if I want to make it in this country I better stop eating junks because I would rather save the money and buy something important than eating junks,it may sound funny but believe me the money we spend on junks can pay for alot sometimes,so I'm really cutting down on some of my expenses.
Even school is not left out of the inflation rate, the school fees we pay is on the high side,I study in a state university so you should know what I mean,apart from the school fees the price for house rent here is becoming alarming,when we first gain admission the house rent was something we can afford,but right now we can't even afford selfcon around school again, selfcon of 150k,200k. They failed to understand that we are all students,we can't be paying school fees of over 200k and still be paying house rent of 200k at the same time,it's not possible,we have siblings that are also in universities,it's really getting out of hand.
We really want the government to intervene but they are the root of the inflation.
There is nothing we can do,we are tired,we can't afford alot of things anymore, people are not eating right again,all they do is eat to satisfy their hunger, people now visit hospital like home because their body system is not functioning well,no balance diet,it is well with our lives.
I hope this time will go away and everything will return back to normal again.
I have heard that story before,my parent always tell me about one of our past president, during his time everything was hard, really hard to the extent that people queue at the sawmill to get sawdust for them to be able to cook,even the rich people at that time,the inflation was high then,it was unbearable for people but they survived it, though some people died during that time,the ones that survived those hard times enjoy the deflation after then,so I pray for a better economy where all inflation will deflate back to it's old price and everyone will start to enjoy once again.

You know what? If there is abundance of money, many of us will not really notice how expensive it can be to eat junks. Haha. To be honest with you, I also enjoy eating junks, but I've reduced it massively ever since I started to pay attention to my expenses.
Also, as if the hardship we are facing is not tough enough, landlords are consistently increasing rent.
This period of inflation is hitting us hard. We just have to be very strategic in the way we spend.
Exactly,if there is money we won't be worried but since the inflation is affecting us,we have to cut down on our expenses.
Infact the landlords in our school area doesn't care as long as their are people that will pay it
This is clearly a moment that demands critical thinking and discipline. If we are not careful, we will end up with no money to take care of the most basic needs.
Exactly, everyone is thinking on how to solve one financial need or another so time for wasting.
We could wish that everything will go back to where they come first but I don't think it will because prices are going high and high. It might go back for sometime but it won't last long.
All we need to do is find effective ways for us to survive despite of this inflation.

In Nigeria, once there is increase in price forget it no decrease again. It becomes a normal thing for us and we adjust to it, then life goes on.

Yes I needed to reduce my excessive spending because at the end of the day when I calculated all the money it was too much,so I needed to divert it to reasonable spending.

Inflation is such kind of thing that creates a huge impact on our daily life because the inflation rate in recent times is very high and living is getting more difficult for us. I also wish to see that everything is normal but it seems hard in the recent time.
