I think that we're finally getting to the end of the rainy season. Yeah, it still rains every once in a while, but it's no longer as bad as it used to be and when it does rain, the floods are no longer as massive as they used to be. Now, the roads are dry, we have more dust and sand to deal with and the trash are way more visible to the eyes and as such way more easier to clear.
The dry season masks a lot of problems and it can be very deceptive for those who don't know. One of the best advices you will ever get as someone looking to get a home is to do it during the rainy season when the clouds are opening up in full force and drenching the earth in torrents of downpour. That is the only time that you will know for sure if you're going to be living on land, or you'll be living in the sea, like an aquatic animal.
If you make your move during a season like this, you'll see the fine roads and think that's all there is. The roads are neat now, you can even fall to the ground your white won't stain, you can walk barefoot and you won't get irritated. That's how deceptive it is.
But then, not like it's without it's benefits. Like I said, it's good. It's also good because we dont have to pick our way anymore trying to avoid stepping into puddles of water. This is one thing we can't avoid so far. When it rains, even the idea of stepping out can be so off-putting because of the rubbish you know you'll have to put your feet in. It's always terrible and for those who are not tolerant enough, they can develop severe allergies to the environment.
But then, during the dry season like now, it's easier to navigate. No need to find out way and one can easily take a stroll through the streets without being scared of losing their footing. It's crazy and all, but it's part of what makes it so much fun.
Anyway, now that we're nearing the end of the rainy days, it's good to note that we're also seeing the end of the days of flooding. Even if it's only going to be for a short time before it returns next year. At least, for this short while, let's enjoy it while it's here, aii?
It might be a bit early, but people in this area are already feeling the spirits of the festive season and they're already celebrating in kind. Just last night I heard some people blowing knockouts not far from where I live. This is one of the perks of the dry season in the ember months. It reminds us of harmattan and once we begin to expect harmattan, we're already preparing ourselves for the yuletide.
With the way things have been going in this country this past year, I shudder to think about how this years Christmas and new year celebrations will turn out. But no hurry, time will tell.

Thank you for this.
I also think dry season is good at least there are more advantages compared to rainy season.
Yeah...
It has a number of advantages as well. If not for how hot it can get sometimes, it would have been perfect.
