A month full of expenses

Last month is unforgettable for me because it was the month I spent the most for this year, the amount I spent was in the millions.

There is this project I am working on that keeps on consuming money from me, but I know when I am finally done with it, I will have a big smile on my face and the world will rejoice with me, so just last month it took more than 7m Naira from me.

We all know the bull run is near and this is the wrong time to be selling coins but I had no choice but to sell some of my assets even the one I did not suppose to sell just to continue with the project and at some point, I told my manager to put a hold to it because if we keep up with it at this rate, it won’t be long before I sell more coins I am not supposed to Sell, even part of my hive power went towards it.

The smart thing to do is to stop it till after bull run, so yea I am back to earning mode, enough spending!

Aside the project , I also got some things last month which I needed, I got a fridge, microwave, generator, shelf and an electric fan…

Nigeria will frustrate you to the extent that you will end up buying things you did not have in your budget, early this year our electricity became unstable and sometimes we may not even have light for 2 to 3 days, and my apartment is not well
Ventilated that the heat is always unbearable especially in the night when I want to sleep so I had no choice but to get this electric fan that can last up to 9 hours if it is put in its lowest mode and 3 hours at its fastest mode , I often put it at the lowest so it can last the whole night.

You must be wondering how I charge the electric fan if there is no light for days as I mentioned, the first thing I got was a generator, I can not expose my laptop and phones because I want to charge, moreover we all know the risk involve in charging your gadgets outside, that was how I lost my power bank and I made a post about that last year, aside this , going from one place to another because I want to charge is stressful and annoying so the first thing I got for myself was a big generator!

Being a caring neighbour, the generator is big enough to power up 3 apartment so I shared with my two lovely neighbors, there is love in sharing.

So I turn on the gen every night for few hours to charge my gadget and the electric fan which last us till the next day.

This is an unaware picture that was taken when I was setting up my tv shelf, if you look at the first picture of the fan, you will realize the tv shelf was not there and wires were scattered on the floor, I wanted to make the place look neat so I asked my carpenter to make a Tv shelf for me where I placed all the extensions and wires, we were trying to place the tv back to its console when this picture was taken.

I got this fridge last month too and it was the most expensive out of everything, I got it for 345k, it has a freezer at the top and it came with a dispenser and I love how fast it freezes things for me, I can get an ice block from it within 2 hours of steady light, after I got it and started putting my food inside, I realized I need a microwave oven to complement it so I had to get that as well.

I also bought other little things like toasting machine, I spent a lot last month but am happy I didn’t waste the money, all what I used the money for are good things that can be accounted for.

No regret for spending that much but enough spending now, it is time to hustle and earn again…
