AI SHOULDN'T BE A THREAT TO HUMANS

When I wanted to start my journey into the world of technology, this was one of my major concerns. I developed interest in learning web development, the front-end part precisely. While researching about this field, I came accross some articles where this was being discussed. Aparently, it's a major concern and people genuinely needed to know if AI was going to replace them in the next few years. For a newbie like me, I had to really know before I start it at all, so I would know if it was going to worth puttin all my energy in it.

While going through the articles and discussions, I was convinced that AI was not going to take over the field and that it is a tool meant to be used by humans to make things better for us, give ideas, and give us another point of view to whatever we are working on. For instance, you wrote a bunch of codes, ran it and discovered that it wasn't working. One could actually use AI to detect where the problem is coming from. This will speed up one's work rate and allow one to deliver faster.

Also, AI itself is a tool assembled by human intelligence and I think that is one solid way to know AI can never be able to create itself. AI can only do what it is programmed to do, humans are much more dynamic and obviously superior. It is true that AI is actually taking over so many jobs nowadays, and as much as this promotes growth and allows time to be efficiently used, it still does not change the fact that it is blocking some people's source of income.

I guess it is also important to keep growing as humans, one can not keep one thing all over and all over again in the same way and expect growth of any nature. AI is here to stay, and it is most likely going to get even better, so one has to stay updated and use it to one's advantage. So it can really help to see it from a point of view that it can actually make things better and not worse.

The bottom line is really that there is nothing with advantages without disadvantages. AI has so many advantages, but also has its down sides; same as human intelligence. Taking Agriculture as an example; What a machine can do in 30 mins, human will probably do it in 3 hours, and it might take more than a person in fact. So, who would not go for something that is faster and will save a lot of stress?.

In the fields I have chosen--Photography and web development--, AI and robots can not completely take over, although they can help me in tremendous ways. AI wouldn't come up with a photoshoot idea and take those pictures by itself, but it can help me during the course of editing them. You know, removimg blemishes, smoothining the skin and backdrops, adding effects and so on at a faster rate. So, I genuinely see AI as a tool to help us humans to be more productive and efficient.

However, if my skills ever become obsolete, I am sure there will always be a way to catch up, or there will be a skill I can transition to. There will always be room for growth, actually.

Thanks for reading❤️

Humans will definitely find a way to survive when the time comes, artificial intelligence and robots are designed to help but they are overdoing it.
