I went to my friend's place on Sunday and I spent about two days there, which was really good. I have been travelling a lot lately and I am genuinely grateful for God's protection. The visit felt as if I was on vacation because we'll just wake up, do few things, eat, post our businesses, gist, relax, and do personal tasks. There were no overwhelming chores and their light was super stable; I really had a good time there.

I met my childhood friend during the course of my visit. You see, this life is very funny and please, allow me to explain what I mean by that. The friend that I went to visit initially was my classmate in secondary school. We became close at a point and we have been good friends since then. My childhood friend on the other hand attended the same primary school with me before they moved away from our area. I would go to their place during holidays and she would come to mine as well.

As time went by, the communication started depreciating but we were those kind of friends that we click and vibe immediately no matter how long it might have been that we spoke last. We barely saw in so many years, aside from when I invited her to come for my birthday photoshoot in 2020, and that was the last time we saw. So now, this is where the gist gets really interesting...

My secondary school friend and my childhood friend attends the same university and although I knew, I thought the school was too big for them to know each other. I even asked my secondary school friend if she knew anyone by my childhood friend's full name and she said she didn't. Lo and behold, I only realized later that they don't only know each other, but they are in the same facaulty as well. They even did teaching practice at the same place, but they were not so close then, they just use to have small talks. Small world, right?

You must be wondering how my secondary school friend did not know my childhood friend by her name. Apparently, she was called another name in the university, so she was not familiar with the name I mentioned. When I showed her her picture, she was like "ahah, I know this girl now". It was very thrilling; the fact that they both know each other. My childhood friend came visiting that day and we were so glad to see each other. We hugged for minutes, talked about fun memories and talked about things that all three of us could relate to. It was quite a beautiful moment and it was very interesting as well.

I can feel the hug from my end. What's more sweet than reconnecting with your friends.

Now I am imagining what will be like if I get connected with my secondary friend.

Thank God for granting you journey mercies.

I'm sure it will be absolutely amazing.

Yeah, thank God, for real. Thank you so much for your comment❤️

I can imagine the joyful feeling that you would have been feeling to meet up again with your childhood friend. I don't think I have connected to any of my friends from primary school. In secondary school, there are not many at all.

Thank God for your journey. It was worthwhile, you went to visit one person and you met two.
