Delicious and Healthy Gawar Phali Recipe for a Special Sunday

Hello, friends! I hope you are all happy and healthy. Today, I’m excited to share a special recipe for Gawar Phali Sabzi with you. As we all know, green vegetables are incredibly healthy, but children often don’t like eating them. However, this recipe is a hit in my house—even my kids love it! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it too, so do give it a try.

Ingredients:

500 grams Gawar Phali (cluster beans)

1 teaspoon salt (for boiling)

1 teaspoon oil (for sautéing)

4-5 garlic cloves (crushed)

3-4 tomatoes (finely chopped)

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

Red chili powder (to taste)

Salt (to taste)

Preparation:

Prepare the Gawar Phali:

Wash the cluster beans thoroughly and chop them into small pieces.

Boil them in water with a little salt until they are about 50-60% cooked (you’ll notice a slight change in their color).

Drain the water and set the boiled beans aside.

Sauté the Garlic:

Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan.

Add half of the crushed garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

Add the boiled beans and stir-fry briefly. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Prepare the Masala:

In the same pan, heat some more oil and add the remaining crushed garlic.

Sauté until the garlic turns golden.

Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.

Mix in turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well until the oil starts to separate.

Combine and Cook:

Add the sautéed Gawar Phali to the tomato masala.

Mix well and cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes.

Final Touch:

Turn off the heat and let the flavors blend together. Your flavorful and healthy Gawar Phali Sabzi is ready to serve!

This dish pairs wonderfully with hot chapatis, parathas, or even steamed rice. It’s a perfect way to enjoy a healthy and tasty meal with your family.
