EVERYONE HAS A ROLE TO PLAY

What I've come to notice so far so good in life is that there's no perfect parent anywhere. As a parent, you can only try your best in bringing up a child and leave the rest to God. God is the only one that can help us bring up our children.

Because you can't force a child to do something. You can only try your best in guiding them and monitoring their steps. If a child wants to really do a thing, there's no amount of home training or teaching that can stop them from doing that particular thing they want to do.

But then, we always blame the parents of a child when a child misbehaves, most times forgetting that they can't do it all by themselves. It's never, in most cases, the fault of the parents. The child knew what he or she was doing beforehand and decided to go that way. When a child determines to do something, it only takes the intervention of God for them not to end up doing it.

You can never be too smart in monitoring their steps. Because just when you think you've watched and scared them off from doing something, the less you know that they already have a backup plan that might even be worse than the initial plan they had.

You can't be wiser than them, and I believe more that you can only try your best in bringing them up, and while they're growing older, they get to understand life better because they're becoming mature and responsible; they see and do things differently. That's the more reason why I stand by my world that states that you can't blame anyone for another person's action.

Everyone has a role to play in this:

Parent Roles:

Parents play a big role in shaping their child's behavior and character.

Things To Do To Help Sharpen Them.

  1. Upbringing: Parents should always teach and guide their children in the right way to go so that they can give you rest.

  2. Environment: The environment where the child is being brought up also plays a big role in the life of the child. They should always be mindful of where they find themselves.

  3. Close looks: Monitoring and setting boundaries for the child also has a big role it plays in their life too.

Things That Lead To Them Misbehaving:

  1. Lack of discipline and boundaries.

  2. Lack of emotional support.

  3. Lack of inconsistent parenting.

  4. Abuse.

Things To Do As A Child

As children grow, they learn how to develop their own decision-making skills.

Personal choices: Children's decisions are in most cases influenced by their environment, peers, and individual. They should always learn to make better choices for themselves.

What Could Parents Have Done Differently?

  1. Seek support from family and community.

  2. Set boundaries and consequences for people that go astray.

To prevent or address misbehavior: Addressing issues before they escalate is one of the best things to always do as a family man.

In conclusion, the responsibility for a child's misbehavior is shared among:

  1. Parents (upbringing, environment, supervision).
  2. Child (personal choices).
  3. Society (peer influence, media, etc.).

you are right; we all have a role to play. to be sincere, we cant be wiser than them if they are growing just to mingle to the immediate society. Teaching them the right way to go is very important.

You made a balance from the start of your post.. no parent is perfect. They can only try their best. Using ourselves as example is a proof that our parents only did their part and we became exactly as we wanted because we have our own will too
