How are you doing? Trust your day was great. I'm so honored to be here to participate in this week's edition of the @hive-learners community.
Budget in my own is simply a plan or a schedule on how to spend your money and I see it has one of the most important things one needs to do as to know how to spend and give an accurate account of how he/she spent money most especially on the important things called basic needs before going for wants. There are people who don't really have control over what they see, they want to buy everything they see with the help of a budget. One is able to control how he or she spends money.
Let me share with you my personal experience about money. I don't really know how to spend money so to avoid drama at the end of the day because there were times when I'm done spending all my money I will be trying to think on how to how spent the money, so I decided to be making list every end of the month I will list out first my basic needs and of there is still left over I go for other things desire.
HOW I MAKE MY BUDGET
INCOME: Every month I make my budget based on the amount I receive so how big and small but the budget is determined by my income.
NEEDS: needs are my basic necessities which are things I need to live life comfortably. There are things I can do without which are (food, clothes and shelter and transportation) so when my monthly upkeep comes spent by my parents I make sure my needs are well catered for as a student I don't need to run out of my basic needs to avoid distraction from school work.
MY DESIRES: These are the things I wish to have i call them want, these things are not really necessary, they are things I can do without so I just get them when I have leftover Money from the things I need.
Lastly I make sure I still have some money with me in case of necessity, there are things that can just come up urgently and are needed to be taken care of immediately. So also make sure I save money for things like that. To avoid being frustrated, or begging.

Once your basic needs are taken care of, every other thing can be secondary. And can come later. So your budget should do justice to the basic things first. That's the best advice.
