In my opinion, there is nothing wrong in giving out your social media handles to your employers, there is no privacy on any social media, we only post what we want people to see and know about us, there are ways in which the employer can search for the handle on social media without any stress since he or she isn't demanding for your password then I do not think it should be an issue
