The day when I fall in love with Cricket

in Hive Learners2 months ago

Hello, everyone, this is @furiousboy and today I am going to talk about one of the things I love the most and If I start talking about it I don't get tired at all.

I believe that humans talk most about things they love most and these stocks are not from a brain these are straight from the heart because I believe that we as a human if we love something if something is close to us we can talk about that topic day and night and still we will be left to with something to start with tomorrow so let's begin with my topic of discussion and it would be a sport more specifically it would be about cricket.

I really love playing cricket seeing cricket about cricket and everything about cricket my love for cricket started when I was 7 years old I used to not like cricket that match before the incident, as my father used to be a cricket fan he used to watch every match of team India and other teams as well. I used to think what does this game this sport has in it that so many Indians including my father love, but then one day I saw a game very closely with my father as there was only one television in our house and the internet was not that great at that time in India and when my dad used to come back from our shop we have to see what he is seeing on television, so I had to watch the game and I clearly remember that it was the T20 world cup tournament and he use to see all the games of it and I was watching 21st match of the tournament and it was played between India and England.

India had won the toss and they decided to bat first and as I know this was a pretty new team from the Indian site everybody was talking about how MS Dhoni a new captain and new leader had many youngsters in the team and they had set their eyes on the world cup so it was pretty intense to watch India throughout the tournament I didn't know as many details about that game at that time but that was the day when I fall in love with cricket.

I knew clearly I was looking at the match and throughout the match, it was going pretty smooth when the left-handed Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh was facing the English bowler Stuart Broad and it was the 19th over of the game where Yuvraj Singh had some argument with the English captain Andrew Flintoff in the previous over and Yuvraj Singh showcased his anger his temperament in the 19th over against Stuart Broad.

It was a magical moment when the entire world saw the most amazing innings by any batsman when Yuvraj Singh smashed 6 sixes in an over to Stuart Broad, many records were broken on that day by Yuvraj Singh such as the most runs in boundaries in an innings, fastest half-century by an Indian in T20's, and six sixes in an over by a batsman in the world.

India scored a grand total, one of the biggest totals of the tournament and even of the format at that time of 217. India won that game by 18 runs and from that day I am a big fan of this sport, and the young leader of that young team MS Dhoni, from that day onwards I have been following MS Dhoni and till the last day of my breath, I will be a fan of him. Thanks, everyone until next time keep reading, and do let me know about your thoughts on my blog and about your favorite sport in the comment section.
