Yes, we can all agree in our hearts and minds that high school was one of the most wonderful times in our life. I am aware that many people would decline since it would not be in their best interests due to bullying and other problems. But our experiences in high school shaped or influenced who we are today.
Imagine therefore bumping into all of your high school friends after a very long time. It would undoubtedly bring back memories you all shared, whether happy or sad memories , the result would be an overwhelming joy of progress felt since graduating from high school.
The amazing strength of reunion is that it brings people back together to share memories of their high school or other organizations because life takes us down different roads.
Reunion is "A Unifier" in my opinion. Everyone who has shared a special memory with the organization comes together during reunions to talk about their development.
It is a reliable foundation for establishing and maintaining friendships. It also provides the best avenue for resolving previous conflicts. It serves as a measuring stick for your own development. It genuinely provides the opportunity for association members to band together and support one another when things go tough.
In high school, I had a lot of classmates, but I only got the chance to get to know a select few of them. But five years ago, as I was browsing Facebook, I came upon a comment on my account from an old friend from high school
He admitted that he had trouble connecting with me and the other people in our set, but was ecstatic to see my post. In order to find them all and connect with them, I created a WhatsApp Group and included the contacts of the set mates I had at the time, which were fewer than 10. It took time and patience to reach out to other members of the class, it was a tedious process but very interesting
We currently have 81 users who actively participate in the group chat four years later. We meet for hangouts throughout the year in addition to our annual gathering in December.
The initial gathering was particularly memorable because we couldn't believe how much we had matured in just a short period of time. We recalled calling each other by our nicknames in high school.
We even imitated our teachers and ourselves over drinks and enjoyable music, we reminisced about those days and spoke about ways to support the organization that helped us become one. It was amazing.
High school mates who had differences in school back then maintained social distance with each other but with time, we have been able to resolve those issues and most of these enemies are now friends.

You really tried in bringing your mates together o, from 10 to 81, wow! That was really nice of you. Reunion always strengthens the bonds between people, I am happy to hear that you guys were able to reconcile those that had issues with each other. To me that was the best part of the reunion
Seeing our friends changed into men and women is a great thing on it's own, most especially when you see those ones that use to act childish then in class now acting matured and behaving more orderly than everyone else😂
Hehe... Reunions is surely a good time for burning bridges and mending fences. Because now that we are mature we would realize that most of the things we were keeping malice about were not really major and basically childish.
