A Lesson in Sacrifice: Letting Go of Inheritance for Love

In life we get inspired from other people actions a lot no matter how much we try to not copy someone else we end up doing what most people do.

it's like someone simple yet honest action can inspire you a lot in the life, I believe we should be in company of such people who inspire us to do better in the society we live.

It's easy to say we should be kind and all that act of kindness on internet is more like some words but I remember this one actual story that I witnessed and changed my perspective the way I used to see things.

The Last Few Days In a Relative Home

I remember that one time when I was at my close relative home and uncle was sick those days his eldest son was working in foreign country and came back to see him and be with him.

When he returned and meet everyone it changed the perception about him made by the other people in the family.

That was a good person, he spent most of time away from family just to provide them and when his father got sick he was also taking care of those bills and all that.

Sadly his father passed away and that was some hard time in everyone's life..after a long time, I got a call from him he wanted to tell something.

When it's time to divide

Just like every family a father's wealth and properties later be divided into all members equally or the way owner says as the last words.

Now he told me that he ain't getting anything like the other brothers already took all the authority on his father property and not giving anything to him.

He told me the way he spend all his life away from family and supporting them in good and hard times, now getting deceived like that is tearing apart.

They think he made generational wealth in the foreign country as mostly in my country assume those who work in other countries make fortune.

Anyway it was his right to get equal share as other sons but somehow they did dirty to him and now what he says literally changed my perspective about people.

He said I literally don't want any of that property or land acquisition by going to lawyers and making my family come to court, I had this bond with father and loved him, I spent most of my life away for them to see them living happily and if this makes these people happy by taking my right, who I'm to complain.

Literally forgave everyone even though he did nothing wrong and it was more than the act of kindness, like for people we love especially family.. we can literally giveaway everything just to see them happy.

From that day till now

In life I've learnt that after certain thing happens, we don't feel the same way about people but when those people are like blood relation we find excuse or ways to be close to them and fix things with each other.

It's a big thing that you're sacrificing something that belong to you for the brother just to see him in the better spot despite of the way they treat and all it doesn't matter as long as it gives them the satisfaction.

It was ridiculous naming properties without even telling him but the way he turned around that situation.. I personally respect him a lot now and so everyone else in the family.
