Beyond the Screen: Rediscovering Life Without Social Media

Many of people life would've been a lot different without any social media and if it didn't really existed we would've been either in worse position or something far more better.

I personally live more on social media than in real life so this mean without social media my life would be a lot different than it is currently.

But also life without social media won't be that bad when it can have positive impacts and I'll talk about both sides ahead in this.

Manifesting The Life Without Social Media

I would wake up early at 6am in the morning. it's because my sleep cycle will be completely different without social media.

At the moment it's 3am midnight and I'm still awake - trying to change this habit but it's difficult. I probably would've been doing a night shift at McDonald's if it wasn't social media.

I might've no friends

I'm not talkative in person and spend most of the time at home. Before I joined social media there were some frens in real life but life events happened and have lost them all one by one.

honestly I think the frens I meet on internet like Hive and through crypto is the best thing happened cuz I never felt alone.

Doing The Night Shifts at some WorkPlace

The Majority of time I spent on social media is like doing the Grind and without it I might actually be doing night shifts like before.

I remember working till late nights and arriving at home 3am or even late sometimes wasn't easy especially in winter nights and It's social media I'm at home and doing the work I can in my capacity even if it takes night to stay up.

I wouldn't have learnt and experience real things

It's about everyday on social media there's something worth learning, exploring and trying. The things we do in real life starts with wake up, eat, work and sleep.

Through the social media I've learnt many things I wasn't told in school or college. I've experienced things I couldn't have experienced in actual life and these things have had created much positive impact in my life.

I've learnt a lot from hive and from each others experiences. For me it's all more real than the actual life and I do like being here more.

No Social Media isn't a Good idea

I remember spending couple of days without internet when this unexpected political event happened in our country and we have a countrywide internet shutdown.

Those three or four days were depressing and I had this terrible headache thinking about things I'm missing out like the daily grind I keep up with, interacting with the homies and all sort of tasks I do in communities where I'm involved.

I'm grateful we've access to social media and can use it to benefit others and support ourselves that too here on hive.
