RE: Ticking dangerously in our pockets.

in Hive Learners2 years ago

While watching the video in my mind, I laughed a bit as I said to myself that without my smartphone, I might not be able to watch the video.

I suspect that the psychiatrist giving the TED Talk knew that he had to make his talk as sensational as possible to get the precious clicks and likes that would make the TED Talk a success.

Of course, whenever I read one of these articles about cellphones makes me wonder where my cellphone.

My land line was attached to a wire coming out of the wall; So, I always knew where my cell phone was.

My smart phone has no such wire and I end up having to borrow a phone and call myself to find the phone.

Nevermind about the phone. I just found it.

It was in my shoe!

As you see: The house has insufficient outlets. This hallway outlet was the only free outlet. I put the phone in a shoe so that it wouldn't be on the ground.

Thanks for the story about smartphone addiction. It inspired me to hunt down my smartphone. My guess is that I am not addicted to the things yet.

I don't think I can run that far.
