Greetings To All Readers!

I'm Awais Ali and I welcome to all of you in my blog. Today I am going to share my views about HL Weekly Featured Content topic Is Natural Right? for week 183 episode 03.

My parents usually say that "Natural is best." Mostly when I brought milk pack for making tea or when I take Vitamin E or D tablets. The only argue I have is the milk pack doesn't contain of canal water added by milkman. I believe that natural is right but doesn't work every time. The word natural or pure make us feel safe and satisfied but it's not useful always.

My family belongs to a small village. My village doesn't have enough facilities like gas, roads and water filtration system and supply. People still have hand pump to drain water for consumption and household uses. The villagers including my relatives and neighbors use the unfiltered water. They're not even aware of the danger of consuming unfiltered water that contain bacteria, viruses, parasites, and harmful chemicals.

My family shifted to city long ago but my parents stayed mostly in our village home. Around 4 years ago my mother was diagnosed with Hepatitis and Liver Inflammation. She struggled with it for 2-3 years. Doctor advise my family to use filtered water because the main reason of the disease my mother suffered was the consumption of unfiltered water. They water filtration plant is an artificial system that purifies water by removing germs, bacteria, dirt and harmful chemicals.

I would like to discuss a more example fory daily life. It happened with my yesterday, I was feeling hungry and cylinder was out of gas. The shop were close at 2 O'clock at night. I took some wood and card burn fire to cook roti and make a cup of tea. The fire burnt well and I cook whatever I need but there was smoke everywhere at home. It was challenging to breath in the smoke. The tears were rolling down my eyes. I thought of those who are practicing this natural method of cooking in their everyday life.

The reason of respiratory diseases might be back breathing into this harmful smoke in villages. I realized the importance of the artificial sources in my life when I saw my mother cooking food calmly on gas cylinder. I have numerous examples to count how artificial and natural are both best on different times. But I perfer to seel balance between two.

As we dive deeper, reality will become more complex. Not everything natural is safe, and not everything artificial is harmful. We shouldn't blindly follow the slogan Natural is best. but admire natural gifts as well as creativity of human mind.

Happy Weekend Ahead ❣️
