You know, I've never really thought about the danger of the water being outdoor. Most of our water tanks in Nigeria are outdoor and they're accessible by anyone in the compound. Imagine what could happen if one actually plan evil. Haaaa!
It is a latent risk. There are cases of children bathing there, or perhaps it can be contaminated by a fire or dead animal. It is necessary to be careful. Greetings @kingsleyy
