Good day everyone! This is going to be 35th week of Hive Learners Author Of The Week campaign.
So What is The Author of The Week About?
The Author of the Week is about selecting every week four great contents shared from our weekly prompt in the community for you to check out, engage and vote for your best contest through polls on Hive from leofinance threads. This way, we encourage authors to be active and be the best in their content creation.
How Would The Initiative Run?
- 4 Posts would be selected from the weekly prompt questions
- Every Thursday night, we would be sharing announcements for the selected authors
- Polls would be drawn on Leo threads to choose your best Author
- 60% reward of that weekly post would be distributed between Most Popular Author & Best Author of the Week
How Do You Vote?
- First make sure you have your hive account logged in to leofinance.io
- The polls link would be shared in the announcement posts and also via our Discord Channel
George-dee- Preparing Okro soup for Creative Sunday
We begin with this recipe from @george-dee. He shows us in this video how we all can prepare the famous Okro soup. The soup is well known in Nigeria and according to George, it's filled with many nutritional values.
Crunchy Masala Papad Churi! (vegan and gluten free!!)
@preeti also showed us how to make a crunchy Masala Papad Churi, one meal that she claims to be really spicy. She explained to us why in some households, papad is a compulsory meal and she also told us what it is made of, before going ahead to show us how to make a Masala papad Churi, using beautiful pictures to better drive home her teachings.
[EN/PT] Have you ever been boycotted by your friends? / Você já foi boicotado por seus amigos?
@elderdark shared a beautiful post with us. He told us about how he grew up with a friend and they were close to the point of doing many things together. However, as they grew apart, the friend began to take him for granted and many of the favors he rendered went unappreciated. It was a big blow to what used to be a great friendship.
Navigating the Complex World of Honesty and Lies
@bhattg told us that the virtue he would love for people to possess is honesty. It's one key thing that everyone has to possess. It speaks of principles and discipline. And it makes people more inclined to trust you.
Here are the four posts for voting via leothread polls:-

Most Popular Author
There were 18 votes in total in the previous week's poll. @intishar and @castri-ja have been selected as previous week's Most Popular Author of the Week based on public polling.
Best Author
@castri-ja has been selected as the best author of the previous week by a judging panel of the community. Congratulations to both of them and the reward would be distributed soon.
60% payout of this post will be distributed between this week's most popular author & best author selected by judge panel of the community, and 20% payout of this post will be sent to @weeklytops for marketing purpose of the campaign
congratz intishar and casatri~ for last week. Had a feeling these would win O.O.
As for this week there was an interesting okro soup that I acually never heard of before. It had clear instructions with a great video on how to make it.
Then there was another recipe for Crunchy Masala Papad Churi! I'm not a fan of vegan but I think vegans would love to try this dish. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see the photos for this post so I'm going to have to put this out of my choices for the vote.
Then we had darkelder being boycotted by his friends. It was an interesting story that kind of resonated with me and probably many others. There's definitely a lot of bad people out there acting out of self interest or looking for connections /friends that come with benefits. For me I think this is disgusting but oh well what can we do.
Lastly got bhatt with his thoughts on the world of honesty and lies. He shares his experience with his friend and brother. I agree with him more or less. we gotta appreciate those that are honest and keep those around us and stay away from the liars~
Have a good weekend guys. Everyone here did great but I gave my vote to bhatt as I liked this post the best when i was reading it.
Congratulations to the winner of the last week poll.
I feel honored to be considered as one of the top authors for the previous week.
Thanks

Congratulations to @intishar and @castri-ja
I didn't expect it to be a tie between them.
As always, the posts for this week are really outstanding and honestly, it's a bit confusing to pick the best out of the best but I think I'll go with @george-dee.
His presentation style is superb as always and I really love the way he made the okra soup. The fish and cow skin there crowned the flavor of it and from the presentation, the meal is very much tasty. I didn't know how to use this recipe for cooking okra but today, with this post by him, I have learnt something new from the post.
Thanks for sharing your post boss
I am glad you found my post worthy of a vote, I really appreciate it.
I am very grateful to the whole community.
Congratulations to the rest of the contenders and to @intishar who was the post I voted for in the voting.
Best regards
Congratulations to you and thank you for appreciating🙂.
$PIZZA slices delivered:
@castri-ja(2/5) tipped @george-dee
I would like to wish the best of luck to every chosen author, You deserve to come on this spot. For this week, I have voted for @preeti who teaches us how we can cook Yummy paper at home easily. As a cook my self and a great lover of Paper, I will try to try this recipe at home.
Hehe. I am happy to be one of the popular authors of the previous week. I feel it's good because I don't expect myself as a winner when it's about the poll. it was a tie with @castri-ja and I feel honored to see the tie. My post is loved by people and it's enough for me🙂. Congratulations @castri-ja for being the most popular and the best author of the previous week.
Congratulations to those who were nominated for the best and most popular authors and after reading their post quality was impressive. I am confused about whom to vote. All of them are the best. I feel this time close competition will happen and I am confident about it. I am going to give my vote but I am not revealing the name here because I feel 3 author post seems very close to my eyes and I wish I could give 3 votes.

Well congratz to intishar and Castri-ja for 1 vote i didn't tie as well lol,Anyways
It is difficult this weekend. I am starting to be a personal foodie fan from @preeti , @george-dee made an amazing dish as well, I love okras! I only didn't like that the music was too loud and I couldn't hear well he saying in the video... but the food and recipe is very interesting.
Now the two posts from @bhattg and @elderdark touched me a lot, since both touched on things that I faced as well: a brother that has better skills to convince people about lies and friends that backstab you. I will vote for one of them for sure, sorry Preeti this time I won't go with my stomach xD.
