So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on our third topic for this week which is “THE BAD LOAN”

But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “SCIENCE TOO FAR”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us their thoughts on science and technology and just how far it had gone with regards to ethics. Technology has evolved to the point where it has basically taken over just about everything humans used to be in charge of.

We got to see the diverse effects science and technology is having on people, it can’t be avoided because it’s not a battle one person can win. However, in all, we can only hope that we do what we believe to be right and what we’re comfortable with.

This author told us about the fields that had much more science than needed, like the field of artificial technology, and also the need to conquer death which is something many people are after. Everyone is looking for a way to cheat death, and this makes those in the know-how begin to play gods.

DEBATE ABOUT WHAT IS RIGHT OR WRONG IN SCIENCE by @gwajnberg

For this author, he talked about how much money goes into funding research on cloning. While it’s not really a popular subject, it’s something a lot of people are interested in. But so far, cloning has little to nothing to add to the standard of living or to make life easier for us.

SCIENCE BECAME DESTRUCTIVE BUT SOME THINGS NEED TO BE HIGHLIGHTED @intishar

This author shared with us how destructive science has become over the decades. It has been used to create weapons of mass destruction and to this day, it’s still been used for such. Also, the health sector also needs more science and technology because that will very much help to improve the standard of living.
