My favorite music makes me feel how it makes me feel. It aol depends on the moment.
I am a lifetime music freak. I fell in love with music when I was so young, and since I wasn't too bold to get up and sing, I joined the band, my church choir, and I played the drums. I still play.
Listening to music is, to me, like breath itself. It is a way of life. I feel lots of things listening to music cause it gives me much more than I can put to words.
Lots of songs give me such feelings of nostalgia that I'm almost transferred to another time, and very often, that feeling is of a memory or emotion that I can't quite catch. Some music gives me energy, some move me profoundly and put me in my feelings. These are actually the strangest because these feelings I can not control at all, and at the same time, these are the ones I cherish most, if that makes sense.
There's music that is relatable to your life(such as current events/personality trait/opinions on something) and another type is the one that you can't really blend into, but you just love it.
For the relatable pieces, it feels like opening doors that reveal an abandoned place that you didn't know existed in your soul. The kind you have swept deep into your core, but it somehow resurfaced and hits you with a bang.
Music enhances the emotions of a person.
When your inner emotions match the music, the emotions will be so powerful that it will start to affect your body automatically.
You could be feeling happy and when you listen to 'Don't worry be happy by Bpbby McFerrin' and your body begins to move and then you could be feeling sad and listen to 'Ekwueme by Osinachi' and you get sad amd teary. Music is powerful.
Then there are musical instruments that add to the sound and get so intense that you become jmmersed. Just a combination of pitch and volume, and you're in a different realm. You just don't know how that works. like to think that music was not created for people to wrack their brains and try to explain how it works in our minds.
I'm nore inclined to sing and play gospel songs. Time and time over, I've found myself immersed in one song, and I get so crazy about it and soon comes another that speaks to me intensely, too, but differently. I just enjoy them and wallow in the feelings and words from the lyrics.
I do not have a favorite music but the song that i have on repeat at the moment happens to be an African praise medley by Gabriel Eziashi. It's a combination of different high-praise songs and it's very enjoyable. I'm particularly fond of it cause it boosts my mood and shoots my energy up to a hundred. It's a sweet song that just makes me happy and pumps me up. Just the perfect music to light up the room and have everyone swaying their bodies. I could never ever get bored of it.
I hope that this was interesting to read. Thanks for coming around.
