In The Quest To Find True Happiness

Everyone wants to be happy in life, but just like it is, we all have different challenges, going through ups and down, one might even have everything in life but still have the challenges they are dealing with, they find it hard to stay happy because of the demons they are fighting. What we need to understand is that life will not always be easy, but the way we deal with it will bring us true happiness, and that's why people will always say that "true happiness comes within". Happiness is something we create for ourselves, we live happily because we chose to be happy despite the challenges we are passing through.

However, people might have different views about true happiness, my meat might be your poison and vice-versa, Some might find happiness in the job they do, some people gain happiness from their possession, some people gain happiness from their personal achievements, for some, it might come from the relationship they have with their families and loved ones, just to mention but few. Everyone has different things they derived happiness from and it is always achieved with a sense of purpose and satisfaction.

In the quest to find true happiness

I have always thought that true happiness can only be found in money, but as time went on, I got to realize one can have money but still have it unfilled, therefore making one feel sad. Of course, money brings happiness to an extent, but at a point, you'll get to realize that you need more than money. I realized that I find happiness in the things I do and the people that surround me.

Having a good time with loved ones

Being around people that care for me brings me joy, Sharing experiences, and creating memories with them gives me true happiness, and this gave me the feeling that I cannot find that happiness in material things. Even when I'm broke, staying with my loved one makes me feel like I have everything. The connection we create with our loved ones can lead to a happier fulfilled life, it depends on the level we place them. Even when you're far from them, a phone call you receive from them will make you feel elated for the whole day.

Finishing up with a project

Starting up with something can be so stressful, Most times, it might give me a sleepless night, but any time I finished up a project successfully and I know fully well that it will be useful for me in the future, I feel happy, even when someone did something that should get me angry, the joy of fulfillment will overshadow any form of negative vibe.

Receiving gift

yeah, this is another thing I hold in high esteem. Whenever I receive a gift from someone, It always feels like I got some butterflies in my stomach, because I feel like somebody cares about me, and I cannot explain the happiness I feel within. of course, any time I thought about the gift, it will always put a grin on my face no matter how little or big it might be.

The things I found true happiness with are the things I think will last, even though I have some challenges, and I don't have everything, I still choose to create happiness with the things that surround me both in people and with personal things I do and I make a commitment to practice gratitude.
