Electricity is one of the important things that individuals need to perform different tasks, I could not imagine how life would be without electricity. However, we might think about the olden days when there was no electricity, people still carry out the necessary tasks they need to do, but things are not easy the way they are now. The invention of electricity is a good advantage to our generation. We make use of it in our daily lives, they make use of it in different industries and medical facilities, and we use it in our homes for different purposes.
Power supply plays a pivot role in our day-to-day life, It creates comfort for people, and it's not only about switching on the light, but we also make use of it to carry out some house chores like Washing, cooking, etc Without power supply, performing all those task will be so hectic. Without light, it would be hard to do even the simplest of tasks, and it creates a high standard of living. The majority of people use devices like cell phones and laptops every day, but without the use of electricity it will be difficult to charge them in other to get in touch with people or businesses.
Would people cope when there's a power outage?
Coping with a power outage will be very difficult, it will make me feel like something is missing. Even though I'm not using the light for anything, seeing there's light used gives me joy because it makes everywhere
look bright. Staying without light always makes me feel too lazy to do anything, most especially at night. Though, unfortunately, we don't have good electricity in my area, we still manage it that way, it's better than none.
I have had a lot of experience with power outages, but I will talk about the recent one that I experienced. The transformer got spoilt, And there's nowhere to charge, the power holding company did nothing about it for days, and I was feeling frustrated because of the stress of looking for where to charge my phone, my phone was down and it looked like the world is coming to an end. lol, My power bank was down too, the experience was a thorn in my flesh.
Found a solution to the misery
The Misery of the power outage is something I don't want to experience anymore. Even those Who always use their generator did not put it on, that's where the majority of students use to charge when there's no light. The next day, our neighbor put on a generator, and hearing the sound gave me a different feeling, I took my phone and other things I needed to charge with a grin on my face. The frustration was gone, and I was glad that the Generator lasted for a very long time. At the moment, they have fixed the transformer and I hope it will not develop fault again.
Staying without light is like staying in darkness, you might not be aware of what is happening in the world because there is no light to charge your gadget, And in our present world, the majority of the information we get is online. Power outages can also bring problems to industries. They will not be able to operate effectively, because almost all their equipment cannot work without electricity.
