So Far So Good

Year 2023 has been amazing and it's really running out speedily. Been in the last quarter of the year alive is worth appreciating God for the gift of life. Although this year started somehow rough for majority of us here in Nigeria due to the cashless policies that was implemented in the first three month but with all difficulties, here we are in September alive and not crushed by the difficult times.

Entering a new year is always filled with numerous new year resolutions and aspirations here and there by almost all individuals. I can still recall I set some goals for myself on what to achieve in the cause of the year and to say the fact, I don't think I've achieved all because along the line things were a little bit difficult but I still thank God for how far He has brought me.

Apart from personal improvement goals I've set for myself, I also set some financial goals in which I have in mind to work earnestly on my financial stability. Later in the cause of the year aside from the two goals that I've set, I also set some targets on hive. So how far have I gone with my set goals?

Well, my personal improvement goals for the year has been going on nicely which by the Grace of God I've been able to accomplish most of it but not all. Also, the financial aspect of my goal which I set as a monthly assessment has been somehow difficult to deal with because of the current hike in price of goods and services here in Nigeria.

Some months I'm able to meet my target while other months I fall short in the target but I can say I'm doing pretty well in my finances and I'm not in any form of indebtedness. It hasn't been easy I must say but I'm trying so hard to meet up with my target for the year and I believe it will be possible with the remaining months of the year.

Like I've earlier said, being a regular and improved writer on Hive becomes part of my resolution later in the year. It pained me that I wasn't so serious with Hive for a couple of months after my onboarding till the first quarter of this year. I use to be very lazy to write posts, sometimes making two posts or none in a week was my routine back in the days. Also my engagement on the platform was like hide and seek.

But here today, I've improved in my writing and the number of my weekly post has increased too. My growth on Hive has been a gradual process and I'm loving the process and I believe I can still achieve greater things on this platform before the year runs to an end by engaging more with other authors and also writing quality posts.

In conclusion, I don't want to live a pressurized life all because I wasn't able to achieve some goals at stipulated time. So I believe there is still time to accomplish more of my goals for the year cause I'm still pushing and not giving up at all. So far so good it has been an awesome year for me and I'm loving it.
