Newbies Initiative Task 7// My Hive Journey So Far.

For sure every newbie who participated in the newbie initiative program would never want the program to come to an end, the benefits of participating in the program was out of this world. When I read the post authored by @starstrings01 that the program is been wrapped up and this will be the last task for this set of newbies, my heart skipped a beat but everything that has a beginning must have an end.

So far so good my journey on the Hive blockchain has not been an easy one but the newbie initiative made it look as if it was nothing at all, it has been over four months that the program was launched and I am sure every newbie that was part of the program must have built their account either to their desired standards or are very close to achieving their desired standards.

Reminiscing about those days when I first joined the Hive blockchain, it was very difficult for me to get any reward no matter how hard I tried. I had to give up on the platform and moved on with my life until I was told to apply for the newbie initiative program, for sure this program changed my story and it helped me stay consistent on the platform, the newbie initiative helped me find my way around the blockchain.

Some Tasks were given and this is the last one for us, each task helped broaden my knowledge about how the hive blockchain works and how to go about in the Cryptocurrency ecosystem. For this task we will be answering the following questions:

There is a lot to think about the program, the program is more like a guide to every newbie on the platform, they are there to offer you support when needed. Knowing fully well that newbies find it very hard to navigate through the hive platform but this initiative makes it easier.

Lack Of rewards can discourage a newbie but this initiative found a way to encourage every newbie, I think the newbie initiative is more like guardian angel to newbies.

I have benefitted from the program in ways too numerous to mention, I was able to grow my account to the current level and it's thanks to the newbie initiative program. I find it very hard to navigate the Peakd interface but the newbie initiative helped me to understand how it works, I will forever be grateful.

All the task given helped in more ways than I could ever imagine, before I joined the newbies Initiative I find it hard to navigate through the hive platform but my consistency with the initiative has helped me, now I can navigate without any stress.

I only used the hive blog interface before I joined the initiative and it was hard for me to operate with any other interface, after one of the task I can now use the Peakd interface and as well ecency interface.

This program taught me the benefits of using the right tags and it has been of great help, I make use of general tags like #neoxian and most of the time get rewarded from their account. The program also made to know about tribe tokens, I never knew such existed but thanks to the newbie initiative. I can go on and on but let's move to the next question.

A little review on every task given, maybe a grading to enable a newbie know how well the did while carrying out the task. Some corrections can also go a long way, after carrying out a task nobody comes to let you know if what you did was right or wrong.

A lot of newbies were selected but only few carried out the given task, organizers should as well try to see that at least if not all at least 80 percent of those selected are consistent and are following up the program.

This question just made me realize how far I have come, I had some goals set up tho a few were achieved but I will still press on to achieve my goals and more.

The newbie initiative helped me a lot, before I enrolled for the newbie initiative program I had a reputation of 57 but with the help of the Initiative I have been able to push it to 62, it was not easy tho but it was quite attainable but seemed impossible at first.

I also had just 9 followers before I joined the program but I currently have 27 followers and 23 more to achieve my goal.

When I joined the program I had just 57 Hive power but I currently have over 344 hive power, my aim was to achieve 300 hive power at the end of the program and I got that and even more.

I don't think words alone can express how grateful I am to the organizers of this program, me coming this far on hive is all thanks to the newbie initiative program. @starstrings01, @theycallmedan, @aliento, @projectmamabg, the hive learners community alongside all their active moderators and every other member of the team, I am forever grateful.
