This concept has been a long controversial issue to some people and because of that, they find it hard to accept others into their circle.

Some also develop a stereotyping attitude because of what they consider normal and abnormal but the reality is, what is normal to you may be abnormal to another and what is abnormal to you might be normal to someone else.

Interestingly, normality and abnormality does not have a standardized criteria of measurement. That means, normality and abnormality varies with regards to many factors.

The whole point of this content is not to just inform people about normality and abnormality but, to also lay out the various determinants of these differences in humanity. Whether or not a person is considered as normal depends on the/ their;
1. Cultural Context
2. Historical Context.
3 . Statistical or Average norm
4. Adaptation and Adjustment
5. Growth and Maturity
6. Personal Distress And Subjective Discomfort and
7. Inability To Function Effectively
Taking the personal Distress and Subjective Discomfort for instance, someone may feel euphoric(happy) but the people around him or her may find that euphoric state being annoying which will constantly subject them to a discomfort because of what he or she does with his or her happy state. In this case, they may consider him or her to be abnormal but to that person, it's a normal behaviour.

If we are to differentiate a normal behaviour from an abnormal behaviour, we have to give that act or that situation a critical thinking in order not to offend people. The determinants above makes it explicit to us that normality and abnormality varies with every individual and this means that if you see someone wearing just an underpant and a brassier in the market, don't be quick to say he or she is not normal. First go through these determinants to see where the person falls. It might be that where he or she is coming from, it's a cultural custome

Note: These determinants doesn't justify a wrong behaviour to be right, but it rather guides us not to make a mistake of justifying someone's right behaviour to be wrong.
In conclusion, Let's all take note of this so that we all can accept people into our circle as who they are. Thank you🙃
