Music is a powerful weapon that uplifts, heals, and refreshes a man's soul. I'm a music director and I understand what music can do to a man. Music can bring the dead back to life and awaken a man's spirit who was down to get revived. Everything that comes to humans has a purpose. Music has multiple purposes across cultural centers of the world and it has different communication to the hearers. Music is an expression and communication, and it entertains. Apart from music doing its purpose, other components of music make music lovely and pleasing to people's ears. The lyrics of music are one the most powerful things that make meaning to people. From there, other components are harmony, rhythm, melody, tempo, timbre, and texture. This makes the music sound the way it is today to the point of having a favorite and putting it on repeat. Music is attached to the spirit, and it attracts the spirit and is dedicated to the spirit, too; that's why we need to be careful about which song or music we choose to listen to. Some music is dedicated to the marine spirit and comes to other gods.
Furthermore, some music is written and inspired by the help of the Holy Spirit and dedicated to God. This is where my favorite songs come from and it is called gospel music. Gospel music is always structured and well-presented for God to reveal his purpose through it.
This is where my favorite music comes from. I want to say that my favorite trending gospel music that I can put on repeat and that can put my bond when I hear or pass by is one of Mercy Chinwo's songs. Titled, "I am moving forward". This song is my inspiration, and I am moving forward no matter the experiences I had years back. No more going back to those things. For the Lord has gone ahead of me, to make every crooked way straight. The lyrics of this song are very powerful. It's inspiring the believers to move forward to carry the favor of God upon their heads. It is one of the promises of God that He would go before me and make my crooked path straight. He has the power to do this for me. All power belongs to Him and Him alone.
This song reminds me of the promises he gave to me years back and the promises will come to actualization that I shouldn't go back to the past. The song was like a confirmation to me, that God is still at work.
This song draws me closer to God the more, and I'm made to understand that it's my season of increase, backward never. This is another way, God is speaking to us through songs that can build us and restore our visions.
However, looking at the song, it's well-arranged with every component of music, to make it giving to people. Gospel song is my favorite, and I like them; even my household will come and like gospel songs.
Therefore, my favorite music in 2025, is "I'm moving forward".

When there is no person to support us in life, we find that we listen to our favorite music and see our life become good again, then music has enough power.
Music has enough power to do what it can to our spirit.
Music is always soothing to the soul, it is therapeutic.
