Aged & Decrement

It's been a couple of months since we had been looking for another habituation to shift in the city. Sometimes you search for a desirable thing to achieve and do a tough task to find but you can not get the appropriate thing. Sometimes you can get your desirable thing in your short-range which you have not imagined ever to get so easily and handy. That thing occurred to me, we had been looking for habituation with a requirement but didn't find which is suitable for us. As we looked up in our area after getting tired of searching out, we got an apartment with the requirement which we had been looking to get. Yes, I didn't hope that we could able to get that as handy in my neighborhood.

It was just an average day, I got back home from my practical classes and saw that all were mess up environment in the house, laborers were working to shift the goods and the furniture from the old to the new apartment. Before shifting to the new apartment, my mom told me that there was an old woman who was the owner of the house, she talked too much and disturbed all the renters by knocking on their doors for unnecessary stuff. Those all of the words didn't come out from her perspective, those had been informed and she just worked as a transmitter to me.

When my mom & my older sister came to the apartment to visit, at the first glance of her, the old lady came in front of my mom and enforced her to cook floured bread for her. My mom was on the way to do that having a soft heart, observing the incident another renter resisted her road and said that the old lady was like that If you helped her once, she would be annoying you frequently, she would come to your door and knock every time for help. After coming back home, my sister started explaining all the stuff and recalling how simplistic my mom's character is! Thought I'm well known of that. Listening to the incident from the vocal of my sister, I didn't take those words in my head too deeply. The old lady has a daughter, she lives in the capital city, living her mom alone in the house, and very rarely comes to her parent's home. She (the old woman's daughter) informed my mom, not taking the words of her(old woman) too seriously.

On the first day, I didn't notice anything unconventional. But the next day the afternoon while I was coming up from outside. The old woman saw me for the first time and me too as well. At the first glance, she started asking me a lot of questions about myself. Well, while answering her questions I found a childish attribute in her which looked pretty innocent to me. My goodness, she gave me a couple of tiny tasks to do as like adjusting the light of the main gate and enforcing me to tug a rope. Suddenly, a screaming sound came to near my ears from the upper floor and instantly I looked up and saw a renter woman start screaming at the old woman saying "why have you been telling those things to him(me)? Instantly, the old woman skipped the place.

And the lady from the balcony told me that it would be better for me to avoid her. The next day, she came to me again as no one values her, and behaves very badly. She came to me to bring Date molasses for her, as she would be fasting the next day. Yes, I didn't refuse her proposal and I bought it with her hundred taka note. After handing over the goods to her hands, at night during the time of dinner, I asked my mom a couple of questions. Isn't it too annoying to respond to her every command?

Why do people keep their beloved parents alone? I got the answer to the first question which was everyone during that period of time has to go through it and it's better not to be annoyed with her. Though my mom didn't answer my second question of mine, I got it in her silence. At that age, old citizens need their beloved children most, and most of them keep their parents along. Living a life in the last period of life alone, it's so painful and it's like holding a heavy pain in the heart, should it be the ultimate end of an old soul?
