You've done justice to this topic. Thank you for addressing it. Many newbies need to know this.
Just like every other social media platform, you have to communicate with people. Let people know you exist. It's not just about making posts. You have to get more eyes to see your post.
Just like in business, you put a product up for sale but you are not making any sale, why is that, one of the causes is because you have very limited eyes seeing your product. So all you have to do is run crazy ads, let your product be what they see when they turn left and right.
The same thing applies to hive, the difference is that the ad you are running here is by engaging with people. You are advertising yourself in other people's comment sections.
When a person comments on my post, I subconsciously click on their profile to see more of their works. Especially if the person leaves a reasonable, valuable, or encouraging comment.
On LinkedIn, whenever I engage in
person's comment section few minutes/hours later I will receive notifications that so so person viewed your profile. So somehow it is like a subconscious act for a person to want to know more about you after viewing your comment.
So, there is power in meaningful engagement.
I do love the gifs you made use of, it is much better than images sef.
You exactly see the point. Just the way it is on Hive so as is the important of engagement is in other platforms as well.
Thanks very much about your comment on the GIFs. I didn't want my post to be dry so I felt the only way to give it life is through the GIFs.
You sure got us entertained with the GIFs. Thank you
I am glad I did so. The pleasure is mine!
