Art is far from mere chance; It takes lots of processes for it to get fulfilled....from conceptualizing the idea in ones mind to actually making the production, so yeah, I think most artisty works have got deep messages left to pass across but that's not all.
The various forms of art are all ways humans express their emotions, thoughts and experiences; it may have a deeper meaning to it or simply just come the way it is for fun but the truth remains that every work of art holds an inherent value.
Creating an art work be it painting, movie, music, drawing, sculptor, poetry e.t.c breeds out from deep thoughts with ideas running through the minds of the artist; ideas he or she has envisioned to create.
Enjoying art does not necessarily require a deep interpretation or meanings have deeper meanings, in fact, no one can explicitly say what was in the minds of these artists producing those artworks except the artist himself. This is the golden quality of art, it is open to various interpretations.
Not in anyway trying to make artworks less meaningful but then, when it comes to art, people resonate differently to them and this all depends on where exactly your inner value lies.
For instance, I deeply enjoy HOUSE MD series because it resonates deep meanings to me and I enjoy the whole ethical dilemmas and compelling characters, yet, someone else might find it uninteresting but take pleasure in sculptures, which I am indifferent about ... It all boils down to individual preference.
These different responses to same artwork further sediments the idea that the value and meanings in art is determined by the individual, not by the universe. The beauty of art lies in its subjectivity.
Saying all artworks must speak to us on a deep level before we acknowledge how good they are is not accurate. Some artworks are very good even though there's no deep meanings attached to them. The goal of these works is always to resonate a feeling within us and irrespective of what we felt shouldn't be restricted within the deeper meanings it should pass.
Making it compulsory to have one seems to defeat the purpose of art and creates undue pressure on creators and audiences probably turning art into one big puzzle to solve rather than source of entertainment or inspiration it should be.
Maybe, if this question were specific to strictly poetry, I would have insisted that yes! All of them holds deeper meanings embedded in their rhymes, stanzas and words we see displayed over the papers, however, considering all forms of arts especially in this age of technological advancements where one can easily put up anything with ease, I think I'll be flexible about it.
In summary, art is very diverse and just like the various emotions humans pass, through touches all of them, It really does not need to have a deeper meaning to what we see but rather it might hold deeper meanings or just come aesthetically as it looks.
Thank you for reading and do have a nice day ahead 👍

Each art has a special meaning, we need to understand it, when we understand it, then we also get to learn a lot, and artists who are artists work hard day and night to create special things.
That's very true... It's all about understanding them because surely, they have meanings
Yeah
Indeed all art has it deeper meaning, and it takes in-depth view to recognise some, but regardless we should learn to appreciate each art we come across because the artist invested their time in it and would have a story behind it which can help us understand better.
Exactly! It's no fluke for the artist and when you get to listen to him or her tell you the meaning behind his or her works, you'll might as well be wowed
Open to various interpretation, that is very true. Some songs I like, others don't and vice versa. It doesn't mean the song is the problem, it's just our different mindset and what we like.
There is meaning to everything, we just see them different. But it's important we appreciate these people who make art, it's incredible really.
Everything starts from the mind they say and it's true.
Every artist needs to be appreciated for real... It's not easy
