Do you know that Chameleon uses Camouflage for hiding him inbetween the leafs and branches of trees.
> Camouflage is not it's an ancient art found in many species all around over the even both planets and animals depending on it for daily survival. Whether a gecko uses it for blending itself into bark or a jaguar used to fading himself into greenery, the art of hiding within the surroundings can makes a huge difference between either eating or being eaten.
It is a basic natural phenomenon existing in so many plants and animals to blend or to hide themselves into their surroundings. It's unhidden that both Predators and prey alike do camouflage to avoid being detected. In this phenomenon, prey changed their skin colour or may disguise themselves as per their environment colour near them so that other predators/preys cannot able detect them without focussed observation.
Today I saw some grasshoppers trying to hide in the bark of my planting pots. Thier colour is so same to my bark or stem that at the first time even i got confused as it's an insect or just a plant. I observed them when I'm watering my plants at morning. It's almost impossible to observe them but when I watered they starts changing their position that's how I knew that they are hidden in the stem of my plant.
Grasshoppers are responsible for damaging the crops. They eat all the crops and make them porous. But they don't harm my plant I have no problem with them. I love the nature and respect the natural things around me. Hope these grasshoppers got whatever they want to be without harming my plants.
