Politics Doldrums : Only the stakes are much higher.

The moment we comes across the word politics, we straightway think of all the political development happens in the country. Especially the government formation or presidential election, or various other things like corruption. But the term is not alwsys limited to government formation in a country it has many other relevance which can be found everywhere in our day to day life. In simple terminology, politics is how people in groups make decisions at many different levels. In India, we can find the politics influence in people life from the grassroot level. When few kids forms a group and stand up against another kids or kids, also comes under the politics example. We can see the politics at every level of life. Be it school, college or even in offices. Politics exist everywhere, it is pretty hard to stay away from it. The more you try to safeguard yourself, the more you get wobble in its web.

DIRTY GAMES

I always consider politics a dirty game and tried to stay away. Not only in my personal life, but I also avoid of getting into any discussion over it. It never excites me, looking at the way, things are carried out, it is pretty hard to be part of such game. My dignity never allows me to be into politics. It is game where anyone can be part of Unfair, deceptive or dishonest conduct. In the race to get the power, people , politician , burecrats are ready to go to any extent. Recently, a chief minister of an Indian state took oath for the 9th term in his 5 years of tenure. Forming a caalition government and making a side shift time to time is what his way of politics. I feel pity for the poor people of the state who get cheated with such politician who does not stands to their own words. It shows that the people mandate are visualised and always lies on the wrong side. Publicily changing the stances from time to time is like An ass in the Lion skin.

University / Corportae / RWA

Apart from the the state or national level, the tussle of politics can be seen at every level. I was not like this before, Once I was part of the university politics and was a contender for the presidential role in my college. But before the election, there were attacks as well different clashes on another candidate creating a complete chaos at the university. Even though I was front runner, with strong back ups and support. I decided to pull out from the race. It does not feel good to see the bad atmosphere that politics create just to see people getting into power.

Further, I have witness a politics on a large scale at the corporte sector. While I was working there were many internal politics for selfish nature. I have seen colleagues playing so dirty games with esch other , just to get an upper hand from others. Corporate politics are activities performed by individuals to improve their status and advance their personal agenda. I have seen, a good working atmosphere changing into worst due to the influence of politics. Even, the game of politics exists in the group housing society. The residents forming a group for welfare of the society and association, can engage themselves into politics and thereby creating different groups within the integrated society. Sometimes it create a ugly atmosphere.

POLITICS SUCKS

Politics just exists everywhere. It is one of the most filthy pond that makes good people bad. I have seen people changing once they get into power. there are various reason which never made me not to pursue politics.

• Corruption

The first and foremost is Corruption. You might have noticed , once the person gets the power, they becomes wealthy within a short span of time. I never understood, how such thing possible once get into politics

• Divide and Rule

Politics run soon "divide and rule formula. The best example can be seen in the Indian history when the bristichers rules us for so many centuries by following the same policies. They make people stands agaiant each other, creating a intolerance.

• Losing Self respect

I personally people, once people get into politics, they lose their self respect and self esteem. I still need to figure it out, how a person completelly forget their moral values once enters into political arena.

These are some of the major factors which always kept me away from the filthy pond of politics. But the politics can easily been seen at every walk of life. Even you may notice in here too. You never know. I prefer to stay away and never be part of it. It can not be corrected easily, as the people in power can make life intolerable. People says, "brings change" , but in politics this is not possible.
