There was a time when my family members were good in mathematics. Be my Dad my uncle, my brother and to some extent me too were good in solving math problem. Be it unit conversion or remembering the formulas or mathematical tables, all were quite good in finding the solution orally But the introduction of calculators have seen a little degradation to the new generation. The new generation were heavenly relying on calculators in solving math's. There is a member who not at all good in simple math calculation. She used to take help of calculators. Certainly the ease of machine simply spoiled the art and the legacy that was carried so far in our family.

Escaping the algorithm
It is always been said that techonolgy has its own pros and cons. Technology offers immediate answers and shortcuts (e.g., AI tools, templates), which diminishes the patience and deep thinking required for creative processes. Just as in case happening in my family. The legacy of solving maths with ease has diminished. The ease at which those simple day to day calculation were done orally is now dependent on machine. Calculators has now becomes an inbuilt application on every smartphone. So anybody carey it with them and take help of it rather than making use of own skills. Technology diminishes creativity by encouraging reliance on algorithms and instant, automated solutions rather than fostering original thought. There was a time when we used to spend time in solving a maths problem but now kids were ready to search them over the internet to get to an immediate answer. The keys is manking is losing their skills to machine.
Technology should improve our life...not become our life.
These days most of the human being is relying on technology in easing their job. Be it writing content or taking a picture or solving any problems. Even now the national television is promoting the use of #chatGPT in resolving complicated issue. All these is simply killing the natural way of human thinking. The way people were directed and motivated towards technology means the use of art and creativity is at the end. The more we rely on technology, means less creativity. In other words the humans were simply losing their capability to do things of their own. And the question always lurk over individual head is this end of mankind.
Seeing the high dependency upon calculator, I have strictly remove all the calculating machine from my home. I even deleted calculators from my mobile. I personally belive. It is better to keep the thinking proces going on rather than allowing it to dump. Remaining creative amidst rapid technology evolution requires treating technology as a tool for collaboration rather than a replacement for human ingenuity. The "purpose" behind a project.raised from human experience is irreplaceable. Use technology to serve this purpose, rather than doing tech for tech's sake.
In an era of infinite AI-generated content, unique human creativity is the rarest, most valuable commodity.
In good faith - Peace!!
