I hope you all are having a very great and interesting weekend; cause I mean, mine is actually very much stressful, but equally very much interesting...
After I saw this topic and tried to digest it a little bit, I began to receive a whole lot of the answers, a whole lot of of times, I have seen and listened to different type and kind of talks relating to this topic, talks from some religious leaders, talks from students, talks from friends, talks from neighbours, talks from the internet or even the TV; and many more...
If there is one thing that I believe in when it comes to responsibility, it is the fact that when you go out to purchase some goods or services, there must be something in between, which is called a TRANSACTION! This transaction consist of the exchange of 2 important things, which are goods or services for money or of course any other valuables.
I believe that family is sweet, but the beginning, (I'm talking about the time from birth till probably around 10 years after birth) this period is so delicate and important that anything that goes wrong might have a chance to destroy or make perfect a human.
The good book (THE BIBLE) says that train up a child in the way he should grow, and that when he grows, he will not depart from it. It also says that spare the rid and spoil the child.
All these saying are relating to one thing.
The way a parent trains a child or children will determine the way the children will grow and the way they'll treat the parent when they are older or let me say when the get parent are older.
Like I started, there is a connection in transaction which is the exchange of values. And so when we are growing, when we had nothing to offer or do, there's these kinds of values that our parent gives us, and so it is expected of us too to take care of them when they do not have the opportunity to do stuffs, I mean times when they are too old.
Some parent might have money and so you might say that what else can you give such people, I have seen that rich people value gifts that are given in sincere heart...
So it is up to you, what kind of gift can you give your parent?
And also, these gifts might just be a symbol of love a symbol of care, a symbol of respect, a symbol of regards and so on...
Look for your poison and work with it.
Know those things that your parent need or likes, things that you can afford, then get it or do it for them.
And trust me, your parent or guardian will love and appreciate you always.
