Every tag or keyword has competition. When you use a broad tag like "health," you're up against everyone else using it, which lowers your chances of the algorithm favoring your post.

Instead, if you use something specific like "desi totka," there's less competition since it's not a generic or widely used term on Medium. For example, my blog post Chicken Tikka Recipe consistently ranks between 10th and 35th in Medium's search results. The "Chicken Tikka" tag is less common and focuses on a narrow topic, giving it an edge.
