A Relatively Relaxing Day at Work | Alive and Thriving on Feb 19, 2025

Hi there. How are you? I hope you are doing great. Welcome to my short diary for Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

After dropping off my kid at his school on Wednesday morning, we had an important task to take care of. Hence, I was late in joining the morning shift duty. Another doctor joined at 8 am. The work was done smoothly and I could join the morning shift at 8:30 am. The shift ended at 12:30 pm. At around 11:55 am, I went to school to pick up my kid. I dropped him at home and returned to duty again.

I had an afternoon nap on Wednesday as usual. The evening shift was at regular time; 4-9 pm. I consulted 26 patients in my chamber. All three doctors were on duty on Wednesday. Hence, the workload was less!

After 10 pm, I walked on the treadmill for around 30 minutes. It helped me reach over 15k steps on Wednesday!

Okay. That's all for today. Alhamdulillah, I am alive, healthy, and thrivinh. How about you?

Well-done, that was nice that you find some time for nap nd workload was not much. The picture you shared looks very dramatic.

Thanks for your support, brother. !LUV

I hope your son still enjoys going to school and has made many friends.

I have never read about your wife driving to get your son or take him to school. So I am wondering if this is true,
I have heard that in some countries women are not allowed to drive, is this true in your Country? Or do you only have one car? If I am being too private, it is ok to not answer.

I hope the extra help stays and you can have more easy days.

Yes. He is still enjoying school time. He made some friends, indeed.

In Oman, it's allowed for the women to drive a car. No problem. Back in Bangladesh, it's not prohibited by law but usually, ladies aren't driving. Hence, my wife doesn't know how to drive a car! Maybe, in future, she will learn and get driving license, In Sha Allah.

We have one car! Enough for us now :)

Thanks for your comment.

Good to hear your son has made friends and enjoys school.
Some women do not like to drive, I guess that could go for men, too.

I knew a woman who walked 5 miles to work, she walked in all kinds of bad weather and would not accept a ride from anyone. She did not like cars.
Maybe one day your wife will try it to see if she likes it or not.
