Paths, slopes, houses that are castles, and much more.

The easiest path does not always lead to the best walk, but the more complicated path sometimes reveals interesting discoveries.

A new place to visit, walk and hike always motivates me. Searching the map for the best route, the best access, but often the map guides us along the longest and most difficult path. That doesn't mean it's not just as fun.

Often, on the same hill or mountain, there are several parks, forests and natural areas, with so many paths that you can get lost, not to mention the paths that don't appear on the map. You know, the map is my great friend, but sometimes it seems to play tricks on me.

The easiest route was to the south, to a place with many entrances, but the map told me that it was best to go north. As the place was very far away, I first took a bus, one that would take me as high up as possible, as far north as possible.

When I arrived at the designated place, the views of the neighbourhood were beautiful. I didn't expect to find those little white houses, as if it were a white village, characteristic of Andalusia. But beyond that, I found myself in this faraway place, looking at the map and lost. I walked quite a bit until I found myself in a desolate place and saw this unusual house in the middle of nowhere.

Further on, there was a white gate, and I finally found the entrance to a forest park.

There was a marked path and many others that were dirt paths among rocks and lots of vegetation, but since it was my first time exploring the place, I preferred to follow the path that guided me, and the result was excellent.

I was able to enjoy tall trees, lots of sunshine, and ideal weather, because in the middle of the vegetation, you don't feel the heat. There were also many shaded areas where it was cooler.

Much of the path had railings where you could lean and look down. The terrain consisted of many ups and downs, many slopes and holes in the ground, as well as zigzag paths, and I think this is because, on most of my walks, the forest parks, of which there are many, are located on high, mountainous terrain.

I loved watching the sun shine through the leaves of the trees, filtering through them as if trying to reach the ground. Sometimes it succeeded and sometimes it was impossible, as many of the trees were very close together, side by side.

There were many shaded areas, and I suppose that in the middle of summer it would be an ideal place to seek shelter from the heat, although in truth, if I compare the city with the rest of the temperatures I see in the country, here it is ideal, I wouldn't change it for anything. But in summer, when temperatures reach 39 degrees, the heat is felt. Here is a good place to cool off.

Very occasionally, I could catch a glimpse of a distant neighbourhood in the mountains or views of the sea.

Once again, the zigzagging paths were before me, and that made me wonder what lay beyond.

20241127_165139.jpg

20241127_165144.jpg

These paths sometimes led me to more trees, but sometimes they became dark, like in a mystery or horror film.

At one point, the path split, and I asked this big pine tree for advice. I know, I'm talking to trees. But the pine tree told me to turn left.

A beautiful children's garden was in the middle of the park. I think it was sad because no one visited it. It is a remote and lonely place, but surely when the children are on holiday, their parents will bring them here.

I like to look around me; the details are the most beautiful things in life, like these flowers.

20241127_170518.jpg

In a clearing among the trees, I found this view, a house in the distance with a front garden, a small beautiful place.

The path descended and I left the park through another gate; there must be many. That led me to think that it is a good place to explore in depth, so I will mark it on my map. I must return; it is wonderful.

I left through a street that I did not know where it would take me, but a castle house told me that I could follow that path. I also talk to houses.

Finally, I reached civilisation, and there the place seemed more familiar, as if what had happened before had been a dream, a spectacular dream that was worth living.

Thank you very much for accompanying me on this Wednesday walk. I send you my best regards. See you soon.

Thank you very much!!🤗

Such a beautiful area and yes often the more challenging path will also be the one with the most special sights to see

Thanks for joining the Wednesday walk
Have a great day

It's been a great walk, thank you!

👍🙂👍

Hello Amonet, good morning.

It's great that you visited the north side of this beautiful place. You were able to see gorgeous scenery.

Beautiful shots. I loved the children's play area.

Have a beautiful day.

It was a beautiful walk! Thank you very much!

"The pine tree told me to turn left, "I imagined you were in a fairy tale. All those open spaces are so beautiful. I love your walks. The little castle is great."

When I am in nature, I am transformed... I connect with my inner self and feel the magic. More and more every day. I know who I am, why I am here, and where I am going... it is wonderful. Thanks to you... they say fairies exist but few see them, I hope to see them.

many amazing views! The easiest path usually contains the mainstream things to see. but not everyone "deliberately dares to get lost".

I often only rely on google maps, and often get taken to unexpected places. I once got lost in the forest but luckily there was still a signal 🤣 I can't imagine if there was no signal.

The map has taken me everywhere, and the most difficult places have incredible things to offer, but most tourists don't go there because the tours don't go to those places... but I do! Thank you!

Every day I fall more in love with that city, it is full of treasures. I was about to ask you days ago and I forgot, is it safe to walk alone on those trails? We know there are places that are not, but I have seen you go to so many places and you have never mentioned that it is unsafe. Este paseo ha sido una maravilla!! Gracias y lindo dia 🤗.

There are very few dangerous places, and they are where the gypsies live... it's only dangerous at night, but gypsies are very dirty, I don't like those places. Luckily, there are very few of them. Now... the issue of excessive and illegal immigration is causing some problems... I'm careful, but for the moment everything is calm.🤗

It's good to know that it's generally safe. Still, be cautious 🤗

I will... living in Argentina gave me a sixth sense that is always alert. Thank you!

Hi @avdesing, no doubt (almost) the best friend of the alien is the map, of course there are also the houses. the truth is that it is grateful that you share such a good walk, no wonder you end up some days tired.

A very big greeting.

These days I'm more tired than usual. Life changes sometimes. Thank you!

Good morning @avdesing, life always changes, sometimes abruptly, I just hope you will soon have time for rest and to reap what you have harvested.

I wish you a great Thursday... Today is travel day... See you later 👋

I suppose that time will come, everything happens for a reason. Have a great day!

Eso es, 👋 hasta luego!!

Glad you didn't make a wrong turn. Wow! That neighborhood and area is just stunningly beautiful.

Thank you so much!!🤗

You're welcome!

🤗🤗

What a great place to go for a long hike. I can almost smell the scent of pine trees. I liked the design of this particular house. It looks like someone had dreams of living in a castle.

image.png

I dream about castles, I love them!!! If that house really has such a great design!

That house in the garden... a dream.

Totally.... what a beauty!

I was thinking out loud... imagining that dream I once wrote about here, the image I created with AI of a little house overlooking the sea and surrounded by a garden.

Buenos días, Amonet.

I can see that thought... I imagine my house too... sea and mountain views... flowers and birds... good morning!
