Hello hello community! I was inactive for several weeks, we are back to resume the march with this humble walk that I did these days with @nattymitty who always accompanies me in this crazy life haha.

One afternoon, we went out for a walk we ate some desserts that I didn't photograph, but they were super super yummy. The plan was to go to a certain place but we took it very easy, after all, it's walking Wednesday!

We passed by the market and I took some pictures, nothing very special.

You know, markets have their magic, I've been trying to take some good pictures for Market Fridays (it's another community that I find interesting) and the truth is that it's been kind of complicated. I guess it's all a matter of practice.

For now I highlight a picture of a mural and the typical architecture of most of the neighborhoods in Lima. It is what you would see on a walk in most of the neighborhoods in Lima.

Is anyone from Peru around? Leave a comment, where are you reading from?

Deja tu comentario! ÂżDesde dĂłnde me lees?

I really liked this photo of a common neighborhood greengrocer's shop. It is a very very normal scene here in Peru and therein lies part of its magic, in how common this kind of establishments are.

They sell at an excellent price, the freshest fruit I have ever tasted and above all they have a great variety. Just in this photo above you can see at least 3 different types of manzas, 2 or 3 varieties of grapes, 2 different varieties of tangerines, different types of bananas and etc etc....

It is something that I value very much of this country đŸ‡”đŸ‡Ș the fresh fruit, varied and at a good price.

And here we come to the long-awaited second-hand clothing fair!

The rise of this concept of "garage" sales has been increasing more and more, and it seems a very logical and necessary option if we take into account all the damage that the fast fashion industry does to good people.

I mean, from men, women and children with slave labor and low paid jobs to its advertising campaigns with exaggerated body models, fast fashion has brought more problems than it has solved.

We won't even mention the serious environmental damage, because many see it as distant even though it is here among us.

It is also very ugly to see that in the stores most of the things sold look the same, according to the fashion trend.

That's why repairing and reusing has been making people talk, especially those who are a little more aware of the associated problems, and people who like to dress well and varied, but without spending all the month's money in the process.

And well, it is obvious that by buying some used clothes we are not going to change the world or avoid the megacompanies, but we can change our world and the way we feel about our home.

Somewhere on the internet I read, "in times of consumerism, repairing is an act of rebellion" and I would add reusing.

Reuse that old bicycle that was never used again, reuse that technological device that for some is already obsolete, give a second life to that garment that has already been in many photographs and so on.

Besides the experience of going to fairs and bazaars is something else, you could even exchange something you have that you no longer want for something you want.

Natalia loves these places, I have seen the magic. The magic is her little face lighting up as she searches through the piles of clothes :)

I leave you with this photo as a bonus track, it is the most common public transport in Lima, the "combis" or "trufis" as some Argentinean friends call it hehe.

I liked the bluish color of the LED light, and that it captures well how the view is one of those.

Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings!
