Wednesday Walk - Finally a Walk at the Park

Sometimes, whenever we need to run errands at this area, we would choose to park the parking lot of the park and walk towards our destination.

We need some fresh air and some greenery!

Hence we took this opportunity to bring the baby with us to let her look around in the outdoor too in the Danau Kota Lake Park.

It was 11am and the sun was actually quite high up above our heads but this park has really big shady trees at its walking/running track which is why I like to come here. My student sometimes would take a stroll here too in her lunch break when she feels stressed. I think it is a brilliant idea to regulate stress.

I couldn't help but noticed some trees at the car park with red leaves. This was rather rare but they are so beautiful.

I could immediately feel myself calming down and relaxing when I stepped into the park. There were not many people, just some of them also enjoying the serenity and some slow walk in here while chit chatting with friends.

The park is also equipped with many benches and even tables for us to sit and have some light refreshments perhaps.

Next to the park, I could see some people playing pickleball in the court here. It is a trendy sports these days in my country. How about your side? I myself have not tried it though.

We then had to carry the baby's stroller diligently up and down through this small door to where we were eating lunch as the roads were not even. That was quite a workout for us hahah.

The baby's curious with her surrounding and looking around.

After I fed her porridge, she looked at the menu to be entertained.

Look at her being a big baby girl here. I like her stroller's height a lot because it is the perfect seat height for dining out and I can avoid using the public baby chair. Recently, I have learnt a new thing which is to thank my "older" self for foreseeing things and making things for my "future self". I still yet to know how to articulate this but I sometimes would be amazed that how I pre arrange certain things to ease my future self hahah.

This was where we ate and then I went to pack dinner for myself as the husband was going to work and won't be around.

Back to the park, as we walked back to our car. So we had another walk.

The husband has been very busy the past year and this year, ever since he changed job. Going to parks and out as a family has become a luxury but we treasure every chance we get to do it, even if it is sometimes very impromptu.

I will try to be more diligent in going out with the children, despite battling the mental load to prep for 3 children. Maybe we can even have a simple picnic for the baby here for her upcming 1st birthday in a month's time.

You have a wonderful park to walk and I think the park is very solemn and a nice place to have a picnic too. Having a quality time with our kids and family is very important. Enjoy and have a great day!

Thanks for joining the Wednesday walk
Have a great day
