[ESP-ENG] Día de Paseo Fotográfico por la Ciudad 📸.

Hola amigos de Hive, es un placer estar de nuevo acá para compartir con ustedes. En esta ocasión y motivado en gran medida, al clima caluroso el cual azota la capital cubana. Decidí darme un paseo por varios alrededores de la ciudad. Aprovechando así, para tomar varias fotos con mi novio. Y compartirlas con ustedes, en esta aventura matutina.

Hello friends of Hive, it is a pleasure to be here again to share with you. On this occasion and largely motivated by the hot weather which plagues the Cuban capital. I decided to take a walk around the city. I took the opportunity to take some pictures with my boyfriend. And to share them with you, in this morning adventure.

Siendo nuestro primer destino, llegar al Vedado. Dónde nos topamos con la abandonada Iglesia del Sagrado Corazón. Realmente, quedé maravillada viendo su estructura y forma. Este tipo de arquitectura, me lleva a sentirme transportada a otras épocas. Además del deleite visual, que lleva a uno a sentir una paz infinita.

Our first destination was Vedado. Where we came across the abandoned Church of the Sacred Heart. I was really amazed seeing its structure and shape. This type of architecture makes me feel transported to other times. Besides the visual delight, it makes you feel an infinite peace.

Tras habernos quedado apreciando está obra, nos dimos cuenta que el clima se había nublado. Por lo que las altas temperaturas habían mermado. Esto nos dió una idea, cruzar del Vedado a Playa caminando. Mediante uno de los puentes que tiene vista a la desembocadura del famoso río Almendares.

After we had stayed to appreciate this work, we realised that the weather had turned cloudy. So the high temperatures had dropped. This gave us the idea to cross from Vedado to Playa on foot. By means of one of the bridges overlooking the mouth of the famous Almendares river.

Emprendimos una marcha, que bajo el cobijo de las nubes grises, se torno ameno y disfrutable. Tomándonos hasta un tiempo, para apreciar un peculiar mural urbano, pintado en un edificio. Este mural de graffiti, es parte de la obra del artista 2+2=5. Y que, si vienes a la Habana, te podrás percatar de cuántos lugares tienen su huella.

We set off on a walk, which, under the cover of the grey clouds, was pleasant and enjoyable. We even took some time to appreciate a peculiar urban mural, painted on a building. This graffiti mural is part of the work of the artist 2+2=5. And if you come to Havana, you will notice how many places have his mark.

Pasada esta locación, divisamos el puente. El cual tiene una maravillosa vista, de lo que es el nacimiento del río. Ahí nos quedamos un rato. Apreciando el pasar de los transeúntes, y como el sol trataba de irrumpir entre las nubes. Este tipo de paseos, por lo general tienen su encanto. En ver cómo la vida transcurre, al compás de la agitación urbana.

After passing this location, we see the bridge. It has a wonderful view of the source of the river. We stayed there for a while. Appreciating the passing of the passers-by, and how the sun tried to break through the clouds. This kind of walks usually have their charm. To see how life goes by, in the rhythm of the urban agitation.

Sin embargo, tanto agitar climático trajo consigo una lluvia tremenda. Por lo que tuvimos que correr hasta la parada más cercana y tomar un taxi. El cual nos sacó de aquel aguacero. Llevándonos directamente hasta el paradero de playa. Dónde la lluvia nos persiguió de manera molesta.

However, all the weather churning brought with it a tremendous rain. So we had to run to the nearest bus stop and take a taxi. Which took us out of the downpour. It took us directly to the beach stop. Where the rain chased us in an annoying way.

Milagrosamente me recordé de mis amadas ruinas del ISA. Por lo que corrimos a refugiarnos de los ya potentes truenos que van acompañados del mal tiempo. Ahí nos resguardamos en una de las cúpulas. Esperando a que pasará aquello. Contando chistes y hablando, de cómo la lluvia nos había arruinado esta cita.

Miraculously I remembered my beloved ISA ruins. So we ran for shelter from the already powerful thunder that accompanies the bad weather. There we took shelter in one of the domes. Waiting for it to pass. Telling jokes and talking about how the rain had ruined our date.

Pero para nuestra sorpresa, terminamos nuestro viaje gozando el paisaje verde y mojado, que dejó tras de sí, aquel vendaval meteorológico. El verde vegetal circundante, rejuvenecido por el agua, en contraste con el naranja terracota de estos viejos muros. Sin lugar a dudas, un paseo inolvidable.

But to our surprise, we ended our journey enjoying the green and wet landscape left behind by that meteorological gale. The surrounding green vegetation, rejuvenated by the water, contrasted with the terracotta orange of these old walls. Undoubtedly, an unforgettable walk.
