A few years ago I was walking along the central street of Rostov-on-Don and admired the beauty of the architecture of this city.
And how could I do without photos?
Naturally, I took several.

Here are some of them.
This building is located on the corner of Semashko Lane and Bolshaya Sadovaya Street.
I really like it!

Previously, the building belonged to the merchant Gench-Ogluev and was his apartment building.
The construction of this house began in 1880 and ended in 1883.

This building was designed by the famous architect Alexander Pomerantsev.

During the Great Patriotic War, this house was damaged and, unfortunately, was restored in a simplified form, i.e. without small details.

There is a seahorse on the spire of this building, but this photo, like other photos (and not only of this house) is on my other computer, which does not turn on 😭 much to my regret.

Now this building houses the Gloria Jeans store.

I took the photo in cloudy weather, so my photo does not show all the beauty of this building!

The photos I were taken with a Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L tablet
