It's quite a well-known resort, always full of Austrian guests. Personally, I like it best in spring and autumn, when it's not too crowded and the temperatures are still very pleasant. There are also many kilometres of cycle paths, you can ride along the coast from Grado all the way to the mouth of the Soca River.

Istria, as well as Trieste and Venice are the locations I visited in the north of the Adriatic.
