Naga Boardwalk and Park: A Wonderful Allure

Hivers, hi! How did your vacation go? As for me, I had a good time in the captivating and magnificent view that I took pleasure in during my stroll at Naga City, Cebu Boardwalk and Park and I will be sharing some of it in this blog.

Since classes are still on break, my brother and I went on a vacation to our aunt’s house in Naga City, Cebu last week. I could not let our vacation there go to waste. Known for having a gorgeous boardwalk and picture-peak rolling hills, I was privileged to wander around their attractions.

Let me begin by sharing this rising sun casting beautiful hues across the skies. The scenery was perfect— with the calm sea, the ships, the cold sea breeze, and the awakening of the overlooking city.

I’ve been to this plaza countless times now and I can safely state my testament that it is a massive place. So, my brother and I decided to have a morning jog or stroll two laps in the area.

When I was a kid (whenever we had a vacation in the place), we used to hang out here often every morning. This plaza used to be so simple and now it is considered as a tourist or local attraction. I still couldn’t believe it developed so fast.

For a while, I took a break from jogging and watched the sea. One thing I love doing in this place involves watching these ships. I enjoy watching it doing its own business. As well as embracing the calmness of the waves and the fresh breeze.

This is a really nice and picturesque place in the plaza. In front of the logo "FAITH" is an open court for volleyball or badminton.

When I saw the park (although it was renovated), I felt that nostalgic feeling— we used to play here back when I was younger. They also have this new free paddle court here which is just amazing. You have to bring your racket and you’re good to play.

Over here, you can see the benches and grasses on which you can have a picnic— perfect for a family or a friendly date. There is also this beautiful fountain in the center of the area.

This, I think is their so-called stadium. They changed and renovated the design of the stage. They also have benches on the side and a massive ground.

Their public restroom caught my attention. The exterior design is just astonishing.

On the other side of the plaza, they have their public courts— basketball, tennis, and even swimming pools.

After the morning stroll and jogging with my brother, we headed back to our aunt's house which is just located across the street.

The next morning, it was raining so we failed to take a stroll and jog. Instead, we decided to stroll in the nighttime considering the beautiful lights that would be turned on.

The Pasilong sa Naga I've visited this tourist spot numerous times, and the lights are still enchanting and beautiful. I am forever amazed by the architectural wonder of the park, and I also love that they have a cafe (the mushroom roof style— a nipa hut)!

After capturing some pictures in Pasilong sa Naga, we headed to the boardwalk. The view is best during the nighttime because of the lights. The air was cold and I just loved watching the city lights of Cebu that are visible from this area.

The tide was low so you can see the barrier they added in the water which minimizes or breaks down the strong waves. The city lights view of Cebu City is fascinating to watch from here.

Whenever we go here, the boardwalk or the seaside is my go-to-spot because of the fresh cold breeze and the city lights. But generally, the plaza is an enchanting and majestic place to visit with friends or family.
