A retro find in Beldibi. One step closer to paradise... #TheLongestTrip

I visited my favorite bay in Beldibi again... Every time the heat comes, I want to come here again to walk along the pine forest in the mountains, to feel the aroma of wild flowers mixed with the aroma of pine needles. To feel this unique aroma of the Mediterranean, which seems to transport you to paradise...

When the summer heat outside reaches 40 degrees Celsius, the bay in Beldibi is a godsend for people who can't stand the heat. The sun hides behind the mountains at 5 pm, but the stones remain warm for a long time, giving this warmth to people who have come here to relax... Here you can read about this wonderful beach, where the pine forest reaches almost to the sea and forms beautiful combinations with stones for the best relaxation of the soul and body...

I never noticed them before, but this time, while driving along AtaTürk Avenue, I noticed some houses that look very old and exotic. I visited over 50 cities and villages in 13 countries during the three years of my #TheLongestTrip. But I want to note: these houses look somehow different, completely unique. I stopped, got out of the car and took a photo. I couldn't find any information about these houses. Just enjoy!

The resort town of Beldibi is located on the western coast of the Gulf of Antalya, approximately 25 km from the center of Antalya and 17 km from Kemer. It is bordered by the seaport of Antalya to the north and by the town of Goynuk to the south. In Beldibi, the Taurus Mountains, which are completely covered with pine forests, reach almost to the coast, making the local air truly healing. Thus, the town is located in a long, narrow plain and stretches along the coast parallel to the slopes of the Taurus for 7 km.
The town got its name from the small river Beldibi, which is about 4 km long. The word Beldibi consists of two parts: bel - waist, belt and dibi - bottom. According to excavations, the first settlements on the site of modern Beldibi flourished already in the 1st century BC. Then for a long time there was only a small village of shepherds and fishermen.

And once, besides swimming in the bay, I discovered another pleasure, having climbed 20 meters up from the parking lot. It turned out that there is a very picturesque road in the wild nature!
On one side, a steep overhanging orange cliff. And on the other side, a steep descent, covered with pine trees. Here you can see breathtaking views of the town and the mountains of incredible beauty in the distance...

It's really nice how you've found these unique architectural gems on Atatürk Avenue, adding an interesting twist to your journey.

Yes indeed. I noticed these buildings for the first time, although I have been visiting this bay for the second year in a row 😊

Thos buildings upstairs have lovely design, shame about the ground floor being all commercial, I wonder if the shop keepers live in them

Interesting question! I don't know where to find the answer :)

LOl, go back an ask LOL LOL LOL

Looks a charming spot

Thanks for joining the Wednesday walk
Have a great day

The bays around Kemer truly look like paradise!

You found a very beautiful place with the outstanding architecture. This is one of a kind building.

Thank you. I think so too. It's a pity I don't know the history of these houses!
