Wednesday Walk - Walking in the cold winter

Hello. I am happy to share posts in this community this week, after last week. The existence of this community provides extra motivation to walk and exercise. Many thanks to @tattoodjay, the founder of the community, for his support and efforts. It's great that he reads all the posts in the community and comments on all the posts.

I wanted to share with you the interesting things I encountered while walking this week. I went to a neighborhood I hadn't been to for a long time. Previously, 40% of the city lived here. Nowadays, this rate has dropped to 15-20%. Naturally, old and historical houses have been left neglected. Of course, if the houses are historical houses, you are prohibited by law from demolishing them.

Bu hafta yürüyüş yaparken karşılaştığım ilginç şeyleri sizlerle paylaşmak istedim. Uzun zamandır gitmediğim bir mahalleye gittim. Önceleri şehrin %40'ı burada yaşardı. Şimdilerde bu oran %15-20'ye düşümüş durumda. Haliyle eski ve tarihi evler bakımsız şekilde bırakılmış durumda. Tabii evler eğer tarihi ev ise yıkımını da gerçekleştirmeniz kanun ile yasaklanmış.

Chickens don't like the cold at all. When they find a warm area, they immediately gather there. They do not lay many eggs because they know that they cannot raise offspring in winter.

Winter is also very difficult for cats. In winter, garbage cans are a great food source for them. Even if they are fed in an unhealthy environment, they have no other choice. When the cat saw me, it was a little frightened at first, but then it struck a beautiful pose as if it understood that I was going to capture it.

Kış mevsimi kediler için de oldukça zor geçer. Kış mevsiminde çöp kutuları onlar için büyük bir besin deposudur. Sağlıksız bir ortam da beslenseler de başka çareleri yok. Kedi beni görünce ilk başta biraz ürktü, ardından onu çekeceğimi anlarcasına güzel bir poz verdi.

Night temperature reaches -15 degrees. When this happens, icicles form. Daytime temperature is not enough to melt these ice masses. Of course, these masses are dangerous for small children. Falling on their head could cause serious injury.
