Wednesday walk in village Izgrev

in Wednesday Walk2 months ago

In Wednesday walk, I will show you shots from the Bulgarian village of Izgrev, located in Southeastern Bulgaria, Tsarevo municipality.

My friends and I passed through the village riding bicycles.

The village of Izgrev is located in the eastern branches of the Strandzha mountain ridge Bosna, about 3 km southeast of Mount Golesh (433.8 m) and about 1.5 km south of Mount Granicar (319.2 m). The altitude at its northern end is about 175 m, and at the southern end - about 120 m.

There were houses that were interesting and I stopped my bicycle to take photos.

I really liked the wooden signs with the village logo on which the names of the streets were indicated.

While we were there we didn't meet any people even though it was Sunday and usually on weekends most people visit their houses.

According to data from Wikipedia, in December 2023 the population of the village was 56 people.

The village bus stop is in good condition and well arranged. In addition to paintings, mail, benches and timetables, there is also a coffee machine.

Stone steps lead to an outdoor area with wooden tables and benches. There are tall trees around that will leaf out in the spring and provide a cozy shade and atmosphere during the summer.

The site is located at the back of the town hall.

In front of the town hall there is a renovated children's playground and a recreation area.

Nearby is also the church of Saint Marina, consecrated in 2001.

Thank you for stopping by!

Absolutely mesmerizing walk in Izgrev! Wooden signs, deserted Sunday streets and the atmosphere of a charming village - you have conveyed all this so vividly. A well-maintained bus stop with a coffee machine and a peaceful outdoor area near the town hall add modern comfort to a rural setting. Thank you for sharing the unique charm of Izgrev. I also recently post an article about my exploration of old buildings, so interesting coincidence 😄🙈

I am glad that you like the walk in the village of Izgrev and that you felt the charm of the small Strandzha village @bugavi 🤗😇
