Mi viaje a Hive comenzó con Steemit en 2018 cuando mi hijo me lo presentó. No lo tomé en serio al principio porque entonces no entendía su funcionamiento. Más tarde, cuando lo miré por segunda vez, vi que era un mar de actividades y conocimientos.

Admito que no era una gran persona de las redes sociales, pero me vi obligado a aprender por las interacciones irresistibles que encontré en ellas. Hoy, estoy completamente involucrado. Lo que más necesitabas era ser tú mismo en la creatividad.

No mucho tiempo, estaba la bifurcación de Hive de Steemit. Igualmente, no entendí lo que eso significaba al principio. Más tarde descubrí que la necesidad de la bifurcación era que Justin Sun quería imponerse a la Comunidad, lo que formó un grupo de personas progresistas para garantizar que se hicieran las cosas correctas al pasar por alto y establecer Hive.

Tuve que cambiarme a Hive de inmediato, ya que casi todos los que conocía en Steemit se subieron al tren en movimiento de Hive. Todo el mundo da fe de que es bueno estar en Hive. Pero siempre aconsejo a los novatos que no esperen un gran éxito en Hive en un abrir y cerrar de ojos. El éxito en Hive tiene algo que ver con la paciencia y la constancia. "Roma", dicen, "no se construyó en un día". Incluso hoy en día, todavía me veo como un novato, con mucho más que aprender.

Siempre encontrará algo que hacer cada vez que visite la comunidad de Hive. Algunas actividades pueden ser divertidas, estimulantes o simplemente un pasatiempo. En general, vale la pena el esfuerzo y el tiempo.

Una de las cosas buenas de esta comunidad es su inmensidad. Hay tantas comunidades que se puede decir que todos los aspectos de los esfuerzos humanos están representados. Se puede hablar de música, religión, negocios, juegos, literatura, etc.

Primero comencé con la poesía y pasé a las historias, la religión, las imágenes y muchos más. Sigo ampliando mi horizonte. Sin Hive, es posible que no haya mostrado mi creatividad innata como lo he hecho hasta ahora. Esto se debe a que las muchas indicaciones que veo en la comunidad me han ayudado a impulsarme, a sacar lo que hay dentro de mí. Tal como están las cosas, no voy a aplicar los descansos. De hecho, ¡es Hive todo el tiempo!

He visto que unirme a Hive Community es uno de los pasos más sabios que tomé. Por lo que puedo ver, Hive es lo que está sucediendo en la plataforma descentralizada de Web3.

My encounter with #hive/Journey in Hive

My journey into Hive started with Steemit in 2018 when it was introduced to me by my son. I didn't take it seriously in the beginning because I didn't understand its workings then. Later when I took a second look at it, I saw it was a sea of activities and knowledge.

I admit I wasn't much of a social media person but I was forced to learn by the irresistible interactions I met in it. Today, I'm fully involved. What you need most was to be yourself in creativity.

Not quite long, there was the fork of Hive from Steemit. Equally, I didn't understand what that meant at the onset. I latter found out that the need for the fork was that Justin Sun wanted to impose himself on the Community which made a group of progressive individuals to ensure that the right things were done by bypassing him, and establishing Hive.

I had to switch over to Hive immediately as almost everyone I knew in Steemit jumped into the moving train of Hive. In particular, I will like to mention a hive friend, @hiro-hive who was/is my mentor. I usually asked him questions of what I didn't understand, and he was always ready to assist.

The Hive community has changed my view about social media for good. This is a truly decentralized platform where your freedom of speech is guaranteed. You own your content, and there is no room for censorship. Above all, it is people oriented and community driven. There's no CEO/premine. Everyone is somebody.

Because of the good things and benefits I found in the Hive community, I've introduced a number of my acquaintances who are also doing their bits. Everyone attests that it's good to be in Hive. But, I always advise newbies not to expect a big success in Hive in a twinkling of an eye. Success in Hive has something to do with patience and consistency. "Rome", they say, "was not built in a day." Even as at today, I still see myself as a newbie, with a lot more to learn.

You will always find something to do anytime you visit the Hive community. Some activities could be fun or brain tasking or just to pastime. In all, it is worth the effort and time.

One of the good things going for this community is its vastness. There are so many communities that one can say that all aspects of human endeavours are represented. You can talk of music, religion, business, games, literature etc.

I first started with poetry, and went into stories, religion, picture prompts and many more. I keep expanding my horizon. Without Hive, I may not have shown my innate creativity the way I have done so far. This is because, the many prompts I see in the community have helped to push me forward, to bring out what's lying inside me. As it is, I'm not about to apply the breaks. In fact, it's Hive all the way!

I have seen that joining the Hive Community is one of the wisest steps I took. As far as I can see, Hive is what is happening in the decentralized platform of Web3.
