It really is like I am a child care worker. Parents deposit their kids and then go off and enjoy the festival. Over the years, I see the same children again and again and they really take ownership of the sand installation and police each other. It's a lot of fun.
I enjoy giving workshops as I learn by teaching and seeing what new approaches the children have to working with sand.

Aww must be really cute watching them grow up and seeing the different types of sculptures they'd be making :D And great that they have so much fun joining in!
