I'm one of those who think that art is very subjective, to a certain point what for someone can be a very complex and wonderful work of art for another person is simply garbage. I'll be honest, I'm against the clock to complete the drawing missions so I've remembered a technique that consists in using design tools to get a faster result, but I'm not saying that it's completely easier, because people need to have the knowledge and patience to play with some parameters.

For the concept of today's painting I was thinking of drawing something related to the lion king because it is the most famous movie and there are herds there. At first I wanted to draw the image of when Simba is being introduced to the whole pride, that representative image, but several difficulties arose, not because of Simba but because of time, you can't spend more than four hours etc.

My idea then became clearer when I saw sunsets of lions walking together, it was perfect, we can represent a pride walking in a sunset, so I came up with the idea and presented the execution.

Soy de los que piensa que el arte es muy subjetivo, hasta cierto punto lo que para alguien puede ser una obra de arte muy compleja y maravillosa para otra persona simplemente es basura. Seré honesto, voy contra el reloj para completar las misiones de dibujar por lo que he recordado una técnica que consiste en utilizar herramientas de diseño para poder obtener un resultado más rápido, pero ojo, no estoy diciendo que sea completamente más fácil, porque las personas necesitan tener el conocimiento y la paciencia para jugar con algunos parámetros.

Para el concepto de la pintura de hoy estaba pensando en dibujar algo relacionado con el rey león porque es la película que más famosa y allí hay manadas. Quería en principio dibujar la imagen de cuando a simba lo están presentando a toda la manada, esa imagen representativa, pero surgían varias dificultades, no por simba sino por el tiempo, no se pueden emplear más de cuatro horas etc.

Mi idea entonces tomó mayor claridad al ver atardeceres de leones caminando juntos, era perfecto, podemos representar una manda caminando en un atardecer, asi surgió la idea y presento la ejecución.

Before starting to tell the story I want to express that the lions go in a pack together and they are getting smaller, this time they go to the left, normally in the artistic drawings to express the change the objects move to the right, but these lions are walking back home, they want to analyze the mistakes and successes of all these days dedicated to the hunt and to perfect the character for the bull run.

Last night, about 15 hours ago I finished the first drawing, then some materials were not cleaned, so step 1 was to clean the brushes that were already hard. Another step was to move all the materials to a new workstation, today I didn't paint in the dining room, but on my desk, in my room.

First I made a first sketch of how the sunset was going to be, but actually drawing the sun is complicated, because in our head it is round, when we look at the sky it is like that, but in the drawings I found on the internet they were made with certain distortions, the problems began, I think I made about 3 different sketches and in my mind I couldn't find which one was going to be the best, you can see in one of the images that the pencil was marked in many places, but the worst of it is that the colors don't cover well the color of the pencil, so it was necessary to give 4 layers to try to cover it better, that increased a lot the time to continue.

I painted the ground black to give the effect of shadow, which will not be seen because we are against the light, the lions I got them from the internet but I worked on the photopea program which is like a photoshop but web version, it is not so complex and I have used it for several years to make simple modifications of size, color, to put titles, recommended and it is free.

The sun has different layers of paint, it has two different yellow colors, one is the normal, the usual, but the second is metallic, to try to give more brightness, because sometimes from where you look it seems white, it gives an interesting effect.

After having the sun dry, I made with the same red color shines, sparkles or stripes, but with the brush not very wet of paint, to try to give the effect of blurred, it is an effect very used by different painters to give that sensation of blurred, I used to make abstract paintings and I liked to use this technique.

Antes de empezar a relatar quiero expresar que los leones van en manda juntos y van siendo más pequeños, en esta ocasión van hacia la izquierda, normalmente en los dibujos artísticos para expresar el cambio los objetos se mueven hacia la derecha, pero estos leones van caminando de regresos a su hogar, quieren analizar los errores y aciertos de todos estos días dedicados a la cacería y a perfeccionar el carácter de caras a la bull run.

Anoche, hace unas 15 horas terminé el primer dibujo, entonces algunos materiales no fueron limpiados, asi que el paso 1 fue limpiar los pinceles que ya estaban duros. Otro paso fue trasladar todos los materiales hasta un nuevo puesto de trabajo, hoy no se pintó en el comedor, sino en mi escritorio, en mi habitación.

Primero se hizo un primer boceto de como iba a ser el atardecer, pero en realidad dibujar el sol es complicados, porque en nuestra cabeza es redondo, al mirar el cielo es asi, pero en los dibujos que encontré en internet los hacían con ciertas distorsiones, empezaron los problemas, creo que hice alrededor de 3 bocetos diferentes y en mi mente no encontraba cual de ellos iba a ser el mejor, pueden ver en una de las imágenes que el lápiz fue marcado por muchos lugares, pero lo peor de ello es que los colores no cubren bien el color del lápiz, por lo que fue necesario dar 4 capas para intentar cubrirlo mejor, eso aumentó mucho el tiempo para proseguir.

Pinté el suelo de negro para dar el efecto de sombra, que no se va a ver porque estamos a contra luz, los leones los saqué de internet pero los trabajé sobre el programa photopea que es como un photoshop pero versión web, no es tan complejo y lo he utilizado ya por varios años para hacer modificaciones sencillas de tamaño, de color, de poner títulos, recomendado y es gratuito.

El sol tiene diferentes capas de pintura, tiene dos colores amarillos diferentes, uno el normal, el de siempre, pero el segundo es metalizado, para intentar dar mayor brillo, porque a veces desde donde se mire parece blanco, da un efecto interesante.

Luego de tener el sol seco, le hice con el mismo color rojo brillos, destellos o rayas, pero con el pincel no muy mojado de pintura, para intentar dar el efecto de difuminado, es un efecto muy utilizado por diferentes pintores para dar esa sensación de difuminado, yo antes hacia cuadros abstractos y me gustaba emplear dicha técnica.

Al sumar los leones con photopea y darles una escala correcta para que el líder vaya adelante, el trabajo ha sido terminado, pero quería ver diferentes resultados finales, para ello jugué con diferentes aplicaciones para modificar todo lo que pudiera, creo que picsart es la aplicación que mejores resultados te puede ofrecer en términos de variedad y calidad, algunos de los que más me gustaron los presento a continuación:
