Here are a couple gifs to show you some of the steps I take to make a serving tray 🌼 this is my second time making one of these! I absolutely loved how the first one turned out using someones wedding flowers. I was excited to pick out my own flowers this time though! 🌼 Luckily @daltono was sweet enough to take me to TJMAXX where we found two serving trays for cheap! His mom is the one who mentioned she had seen them there for cheap! I couldn’t wait to start making this tray.
My first serving tray using wedding flowers!
The layout I chose, and I decided to add gold flakes also 😊
Starting the process
First I start off with mixing my resin until its clear!
I added a layer of resin to set the flowers on so they would stay put.
Finishing it up
It takes 24 hours for it to fully cure, and I will have to add another layer of resin after it is done curing! I am excited to see what this looks like, and to list it on my Etsy shop! 😊 I will make another post when I finish the tray.
