Bueno luego de una semana bastante llena de trabajo he vuelto al blog, esta ves con ganas de ser mucho mas activo, no les voy a mentir me gusta bastante crear contenido para Hive pero una de las razones es que las ganancias que obtengo por los post me ayudan bastante ya que es una de mis principales fuentes de ingreso así.
Una de las cosas mas geniales y divertidas que me tocó hacer esta semana fue esta ilustración tradicional que quiero mostrar hoy, recopilar todo el proceso estuvo bastante entretenido y hasta pude realizar un par de vídeos.
Well, after a fairly full week of work I have returned to the blog, this time you see wanting to be much more active, I will not lie to them I like to create content for Hive but one of the reasons is that the benefits that I get by the posts help me a lot since it is one of my main sources of income.
One of the coolest and funniest things I had to do this week was this traditional illustration that I want to show today, collecting the whole process was quite entertaining and I was even able to make a couple of videos.
Esta ilustración fue una comisión que hice para un amigo fotógrafo llamado Luis Ramírez el cual me pidió que ilustrara a un amigo de el ya que cumpliría años así que pensaba darle de regalo una ilustración hecha por mí además le había hecho una sesión de fotos y quería que ilustrara una de las fotos que el había tomado.
Luego de ver todas las fotos hubieron dos que me llamaron bastante la atención por las poses y los colores que tenían así que las seleccioné y luego de esas elegí una que sin duda es mi favorita y la que usé como guía para realizar esta ilustración.
This illustration was a commission I made for a photographer friend named Luis Ramirez, who asked me to illustrate a friend of his, as it was going to be his birthday, so I planned to give him as a gift an illustration made by me and he had also done a photo shoot and wanted me to illustrate one of the photos he had taken.
After seeing all the photos there were two that I liked quite a bit because of the poses and colors they had so I selected them and after 2 I chose 1 which is definitely my favorite and the one I used as a guide to make this illustration.

The materials I used for this illustration were:

Comencé como siempre por el boceto de la ilustración, esta vez no tuve que pensar mucho ya que era básicamente reinterpretar la foto original que me había dado mi amigo Luis para hacer la ilustración de una forma interesante y llamativa.
I started as usual drawing the idea I had for illustration, this time I didn't have to think much, since I was basically reinterpreting the original photo that my friend Luis had given me to make the illustration, I just had to do it in an interesting and surprising way.
Luego de refinar un poco el boceto que había hecho hice uno en una nueva cartulina con los detalles mejore resueltos y las lineas finales mas limpias, y comencé con el siguiente paso, el delineado.
Comencé a delinear todo el boceto para poder luego pasar a colorear teniendo las lineas principales de todo el dibujo. Esta ilustración la delineé usando mi pincel triple cero que tiene una punta ultra fina y para hacer detalles es muy bueno.
After refining the sketch I had made, I made one in a new one on my stand, improved the details and the final lines, and started with the next step the lineart.
I started delineating the whole sketch and then coloring having the main lines of the whole drawing. This illustration I sketched using my triple zero brush that has an ultra thin tip and to make details is very good.
Hice este pequeño gif de un video que publiqué en tiktok y me gustó bastante este efecto de luces de neon sobre el dibujo lineal.
I made this little gif of a video that I posted on tiktok and I quite liked this effect of neon lights on the linear drawing.
En lo que tuve la ilustración totalmente delineada y limpia comencé a colorear, al principio pensaba solo usar el color en la camisa del chico ya que me parecía que la foto original resaltaba bastante por los tonos de ella, pero luego me arriesgué a colorear toda la ilustración para hacerla mas llamativa.
In what had the illustration completely delineated and clean I started coloring, at first I was just thinking about using the color on the boy's shirt, as it seemed to me that the original photo stood out a little for the tones of it, but then I encouraged myself to color the whole illustration to make it more striking.

Y luego de hacerle el fondo con las acuarelas y hacerle unas cuantas flores con tinta culminé la ilustración con un marco negro para darle un poco de formalidad a la misma, el resultado me gustó bastante fue un trabajo que disfruté mucho de principio a fin.

And after doing the background with the watercolors and making her some flowers in ink I finished the illustration with a black frame to give a little formality to it, the result I quite liked was a work that I really enjoyed from start to finish.

Como les comenté al inicio del post hice un par de vídeos de la ilustración, estos en concreto los realicé para tiktok ya que me creé una cuenta para publicar mis ilustraciones, el user es "luyalej" por si quieren ir a ver que hay por allá, por esto el formato del anterior era vertical, este si lo hice en horizontal porque me gusta mas este formato para el video de muestra de la ilustración final.
As I told you at the beginning of the post I made a couple of videos of the illustration, these specifically I made them for tiktok since I created an account to publish my illustrations, the user is "luyalej" in case you want to go see what is out there, for this reason the format of the previous one was vertical, this if I did it in horizontal format because I like this format more for the sample video of the final illustration.
