Hourly Comic 2023

Hello, Everyone!

I was not prepared for the beginning of this week. Today is the first day of the new school term and I had to get up at 6 AM to be able to prepare and get to work on time (I'm a teacher) 😅 I completely forgot to schedule Mary Windfiddle's story.

In exchange, here's something I worked on last week. The Hourly Comic is a project/challenge I first heard about three or four years ago on Twitter. You're supposed to draw a panel or few every hour of the day (February 1st) - from waking up, all the way until going to bed.

I've been meaning to take part in the challenge every year since, but there was always something in the way. Mostly my own laziness or procrastination, or the fact that I realized it was February 1st in the middle of the day and the challenge had already began.

Last year, I finally made a Calendar reminder for the day before the challenge, and when it came about, I was delighted that it turned out to be a non-working day.

And, so, I was able to do it. It was heaps of fun!

Here are the results.

You can see that my morning was pretty busy. I made time for working out and cleaning the house, which, honestly, is such a rarety these days!

Next, I had some rest and played the Mystery Cube Collection on PC. Then, I went to see a friend who lives about 40 minutes drive away. We talked for hours, it was so nice!

Finally, I came home and had a few wonderful hours for YouTube, writing and watching Vox Machina. Not super productive but I think I deserved them.
